Pretty good rendition, bud. Great job. Was having a cold one the other day with my dad and he told me to play this on Apple Music. Was blown away… 32 years of life without hearing this song…
thanks so much for watching! I am so glad you liked the cover and found the tabs helpful! Also and extra special thanks for subscribing- It really means alot :) Are there any other songs you think I should cover?
Nice job. I remember well when this came out in the 70's - a seemingly fertile time (my opinion) for country music. Your rhythm is slightly different but pretty close. I also like the version by Chet Aktins and Earl Klugh.
Thanks so much for watching!! I love Leon Russell- I didn't even realize he did a cover- gonna have to watch that now. I am actually from the New Jersey originally hence the accent
Awesome! The other amazing song you may know called "The Road" was also written by Danny O'Keefe and it's also been covered by many famous artists. Check it out. Thanks!
I did tab it ! its on ultimate guitar: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/danny-okeefe/good-time-charlies-got-the-blues-tabs-3279374 be sure to rank the tabs (since I still think mines the best up haha)

great job, man! beautiful.
Love this cover!
This one of the most covered songs in history. Danny O’Keefe’s retirement is very comfortable as a result.
Very nice job!
This was my dads favourite song…. Great job. Thanks for tab!
You subtly killed this cover too man, made it looks easy.
One of the finest covers on the web - well done indeed!
Loved it dude! Keep going.
It's definitely not a country thing to refer to yourself in the third person haha. This song is amazing and your cover was spot on! -Charlie

Great song but for me Leon Russell’s cover does it for me. You also did a great cover. No English accent?👍🎸🇨🇦
