I use muggas almost exclusively in all my rigs but always thought them too aggressive to fish a fluoro D rig. Do you not think the gape is closed too much when using a mugga with stiff fluoro?
I personally think the gape gets too closed on this rig with anything other than a Chod hook. I think its pros and cons, you'll definitely have a better chance to prick a fish with as open a gape as possible, possibly hooks that close the gape like a mugga is reliable for keeping a fish on once hooked. I believe this is more true with Barbless hooks. Just my view, could be totally wrong, for me this rig is with chod hooks though
good video. Can I only fish pop-up boilies with the rig or also with pellets, artificial corn and sinking boilies?
Fluorocarbon is more suited for Chod hooks. For Mugga braided is more suited.

@@Kb11466 I’d go with that too, might be worth trying a straight eyed hook pattern though
