    I think for Pakistan to grow quickly in the field of engineering, we need to focus on software engineering and computer sciences and I think I can see that shift in the industry now as we have so many people doing freelance work along with doing software development jobs for both Pakistan based companies and companies based in other countries. However, it is surprising to see that on Universities merit list, electrical, mechanical engineering still hold the top spots and computer sciences are way down at no. 4 or 5. I think these merit lists should be demand driven based on market demand I mean. Only then, we would be able to produce more software engineers. Why I say focus on software? because it doesn't require huge investments like setting up factories where mechanical engineers can work. All you need is a laptop, internet and education to make things work and in return contribute towards Pakistan's GDP.

    No doubt we are not good in hard sciences, but we are also not worst in these.

    Sir pakistan k top students tou applied science choose karte hain phr bhi peechay kyun hain?

    • @affanh334
      @affanh334 3 года назад +2

      ye achi baat h k wo applied science choose kartey hain. Lekin education standard and quality ki kami hai. Problem pe kaam karney ka riwaj nahi hai. Bas jaldi se solution manual khola or answer dekh lia, ya phir jugar laga k puraney exams nikal wa liye. Is say dimagh ki training nai hoti.
