I am a giant middle aged man with a big deep voice but every time I open one of Lucy's videos I find myself saying out loud, "Hey Sailors!" in a high-pitched voice just when she does.

We just disembarked Valiant Lady yesterday and had the best time! Something I absolutely adored was all the greenery - I want to replicate all the planters in my house now. Even throughout the shops, the plants were gorgeous!

On our last cruise, they featured only the two person hammock in the shop, but were very willing to give us the information as to where to purchase the full line of colors and sizes when we returned home. There should be some way that VV could get some credit for these sales, or carry more of the line on board.
I felt that there were many missed merchandizing opportunities on our cruise. We were the first TransAtlantic with passengers on board. However, there was NO merch of any sort geared to the TA or it being the first TA. There was also nothing relating to the Med cruises and either those ports or the ports we visited. I can understand that perhaps they wouldn't have had sufficient sales to market items with specific dates, but there are already TAs scheduled for 2023 and 2024. There were no shirts featuring the octopus, although this creature was featured on coasters and note pads. They also could have sold a great deal of real, US Diet Coke as there was none available at the beverage outlets on board (they did have the European variety of Diet Coke and Coke Zero available.) Yeah, I probably would not have been happy had they sold US Diet Coke since soda is supposed to be free, but it would have been nice to have it available. There were Bimini items for sale despite the fact that Valiant Lady had never been to Bimini and would not be stopping there on our cruise.
I know you are not responsible for what is sold in the shops, but perhaps you know who should be aware of Sailor feelings regarding merch. They are missing many opportunities for sales!

The merchant store is the one store that i will spend lots and lots of money in. I usually spend between $300-$500 in these stores onboard a ship hehr

Hi Lucy, I have been watching your RUclips video and I love them. I have work in the Spa as a hair stylist back in 2012 it was an amazing experience , i am from Canada i didnt do a second contract in the spa , but I always wanted to come back and work in the shops. I know COVID has change a lot of thing and do you need to be Vax to work on any ship also what are the age limit to work on a ship.

My next cruise is definitely Virgin Voyages. Beautiful ship and lots of destinations to choose from. So far, I have only taken Caribbean cruises, so it’s time to explore other destinations on a luxury liner. 👍🏼

One cruise You Tuber suggested that one should check the shops early in the cruise and buy what you want immediately because you sell out quickly. All the best stuff is gone on the first or second day. Any truth to that? I should point out, this was specific to VV.
Sounds like you know the watches reasonably well. Do you ever rotate through the watches or is that reserved only for jewelry or watch specialists?

No I have not but, I did apply for a job with them before I got the job with Virgin Voyages.
