Thanks for checking out Apairy! Quick rules correction (as listed on the Stonemaier FAQ), the adjacency scoring for the starter factions only counts tiles adjacent to the single faction hex, not all 3 of the hexes on the large starting tile. So you can put a maximum of 4 tiles adjacent to it for scoring.

Enjoyed watching the play through! I believe the +1 bee symbol on the farm tiles means +1 strength. Not gain a bee.
