Thanks for the lovely tutorial. How long this will last without melting? I noticed you didn't use glaze after finishing it.
DKK Thankyou for attending my tutorial .You can use edible lacquer spray or I coat it lightly with vegetable oil to prevent humidity ( water) in the air eating the sugar. I’ve had a shoe last without going opaque for over six months in an air tight container . Hope this helps. Have fun making your own and creating your own unique creation.

So in order for the slipper not to turn opaque is to at least cover it with vegetable oil? Cause i tried once i used vegetable shortening and put it in an air tight container but just the next day it turned opaque. Sad.

Can you use the 3d shoe heel mold for this one? The mold was made of polycarbonate plastic. Please i wanna know if i can
Hi. It will melt. Isomalt is very hot and melts any plastic. You need a silicon mold.
I have the polycarbonate molds too and I wouldn’t use isomalt in them .
