    From someone who has lost over 70 lbs.- the faster the weight comes off, the easier it is to gain back. Slow and steady wins the race. A pound or two a week is awesome results.

      Struggled with my weight for many years. If I have protein within an hour of waking up I don’t feel so hungry all day. Plus I eat some protein at least every 2-3 hours. Even if it’s just a few almonds. That way your metabolism knows it needs to keep working. Eating only 2 times a day actually slows my metabolism down. See if that helps. Best of luck!

      I totally agree with your comment. 1-2lbs max per week is good weight loss. 👍🏻👍🏻 Staying hydrated , which I know you do Kylie, is also important. Don’t forget muscle weighs heavier than fat too. You’re doing great so stick with it ❤xx

      Truth!!! Focus on getting at least 100g of protein per day and then can work your way up to around 150g!!
      If you are in 500 calorie deficit per day you’ll loose 1 lbs per week… and that’s amazing! You’ll be able to keep this habit going on way more then if you slash your food intake.

      Great video Kylie! Love watching you and Mark! It doesn't matter how many meals a day you eat especially if you eat a high protein diet. The carnivore way of eating is all protein and fat and water. Beef, bacon, butter and eggs! Protein fills you up and you won't feel hungry in between meals or even all day. You go girl! ❤️

    Hi Kylie, Don’t worry too much about how much weight you are losing. All the exercise you’re doing is converting your fat to muscle which actually weighs more. Instead, focus on your waist measurement and how your clothes are feeling. Don’t starve yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are. Loved your video. I always love watching you and Mark. Your are both very supportive of each other. Never change.🙂

    I tried dirty keto and that lifestyle has definitely helped with not needing to go to the gym 4x a day. Lower carb and sugar intake (including fruit) and increase protein intake!

    Kylie ,eating less doesn't naturally mean that you will lose weight. You need to have breakfast which is the most important meal.if the day to start your metabolism for the day. Protein and fibre are good. Have a light lunch and a main dinner.
    The colour you are adding to your wardrobe is beautiful on you.

    I only wear Birkenstock. I have two sandals (Arizona's) and a clog. I also have a full leather Birkenstock boot. Yes, they are stiff when you first get them. But after about 10 hours of wear the cork forms to your feet. Then they are so good!!!

      Yes.......my foot doctor recommended that I only wear Birkenstocks, as I get heal spurs and these are what she recommended. I thought she was crazy at first because I wanted something with lots of cushion because my heals hurt so much when I walked, but once I got the Birks and wore them for awhile to break them in, they became my favorite things to wear and I've kept my heal spurs at bay as well. They just need breaking in time and then they are like your favorite slippers - you never want to wear anything else.

    You want to lose it slowly otherwise it will go straight back on. Its important not to deny yourself things you want because your telling your brain food is bad for you and in order to lose weight you need a healthy relationship with food, its important to have protein with every meal and everything in moderation. Counting calories be careful you dont get hyper fixated on the calories and make sure a 3rd of your plate is vegetables or fruit and a 3rd should be protein and also remember if your juicing or blending fruit rather than eating as nature intended (as you buy them) your increasing the natural sugars within the fruit

    Track ypur macros sweetie. Don't go down in calories. Track carbs, fats and protein. There are free sites that will give you what range you should fall in. You are beautiful and i applaud you for trying so hard! Trust the process! ❤

    When my husband and I got married. He has a goat tee but he decided to shave it off. I was taking a nap and woke me but after he shave it off. He scared me so bad because I have never seen him without the goat tee. I screamed!

    Love watching your family's videos. Just a FYI, when you skip meals, your body goes into starvation mode, and hangs onto every calorie it can.

      Not true. For those with insulin resistance, intermittent fasting is best. Please stop giving blanket advice if you don’t know a person’s medical history. Too many nutritionists and doctors are stuck in old education. I’m in healthcare and I see it all the time. Giving Alzheimer’s patients sugar when we know that Alzheimer’s is considered diabetes of the brain. Suggesting 3 meals a day when we were never meant to eat like that as we are naturally grazers. No one is pressing the FDA to get rid of 3/4 of grocery stores because it’s not really food but “food like products”. I could go on and on. Telling people fat is bad for them when it isn’t bad for them, the kind of fat is what matters and a person’s personal medical history. I could go on and on because I’m tired of this blanket and ill-advised food advice that is peddled by so many people claiming to be “experts”.

    what helps me lose fat is eating smaller portions, making healthier choices, and exercising.
    walk your dogs. good exercise for everything. obviously do it at night when its not scorching hot.

    Take it from someone that started the Birks train backwards. I started out with the more inexpensive styles from Target. I loved the look but my back and legs would hurt sooo badly after wearing them all day at work. I finally broke down and bought the real deal. Believe me, I was like what have I done? Why did I spend so much money on shoes that are rubbing my feet. I literally wore a bandaid on my feet where it rubbed until they broke in good but now that they have, I LOVE them. I love them so much, I now own five pair! Give it another try!

    Kylie, I have had a weight problem my whole life. I have tried more pills, exercises, and every diet known to man kind. Some I lost on nutri system whrn I was younger and some I was able to do on my own. A few years back I decided to try Keto. I have to say this has been the only diet that has worked for me. I was 180 and now 139...I'm now 61 next week and so crap wobbles and hangs lol..Definitely do it while your young. I wrnt on line to keto cycle..answer there question a d they will make you a menu for a small fee...I feel so much better . It worked for me..low carbs, no sugar is the main idea...Try it or not. I wish you all the sucess on this journey ❤❤❤ I also have a husband who can eat anything and never gain a pound!! Totally bites

      You need more than 2 meals a day. I eat all 3 meals and sometimes a snack or two. I don’t eat anything after 7pm unless I have no choice, minimal sweets. I’ve lost 15 lbs since January 2nd

    1800 calories worked better for me than 1500. With 1500 my metabolism slowed down and I didn’t have enough energy to exercise as hard as I could. 1800 was the right amount of calories to provide me the energy I needed, and I wasn’t constantly thinking about food.

    Kylie, I wear birkenstocks all the time. They have some with a padded sole bed. Try them they are the bomb. The others take time to conform to your foot, but once broken they are also good.

    I lost 8 stone (112lb) doing couch to 5K and 5:2 diet. I seriously reduced my carb intake and ate much more lean protein (mostly, eggs, fish and chicken). Slow weight loss is best. That way it stays off. I reversed type 2 diabetes doing this. Good luck Kylie, you’ve got this.

    My husband couldn’t shop. The only thing he ever got right was the brand of diapers. I buy generic food, not brands. Give him a list & he would come back with expensive brands r not any of what was on the list. I’d have to go back. He was a good, father/husband. He was a family man. Now my oldest son is good at shopping & cooking. Get some doggy stairs for your dog to put by the bed.

    Kylie remember you are going to the gym if you are adding muscle it weighs more than fat . Make sure you remember that . I went to Home Goods a few days ago to get new cushions for the chair in my room which cost $20 dollars I left with over $60 dollars worth of stuff.

    Kylie…when you’re on your period and/or when you are ovulating, could be the culprit for not loosing as much as you thought you would. Women tend to retain fluid. Be mindful of your time of month and when you ovulate. Also, salt helps to retain fluid too. All of that will keep the scales from going down.
    When I was new on my weight loss journey (I had weight loss surgery, going in at 504 lbs and now, I’ve lost 251lbs) one thing that helped me a lot, that the nutritionist told me to do, was to eat on a salad (small) plate, using smaller silverware (toddler size). The thing is to only fill the snack plate and NOT stack food up. Your brain sees a full plate, not the fact it’s a small plate. When you finish the (small) plate, you will fill full. Also, eating with small utensils makes it so you eat much smaller bites, forcing you to eat slower. The smaller plate and eating smaller, makes your brain think you are full, not eating as much food at the same time.

    I was yold by my Doctor to always takr a big breakfaat. Becauae you are going to be busy and work it off. Lunch must be like dinner.Meat and veggies and dinner only a salad.Never eat dinner after 7.Breakfast like a King and lunch like a Queen and dinner small.That way you will not get hungry during meals.Cut out bread and pasta and rice and potato chips

    I love watching your videos. Rule of thumb is to have small bites throughout the day and three healthy meals. That’s what I’m trying to learn when losing weight myself so far I’ve lost a grand total of 20 pounds by diet exercise and medication even if I’m not hungry I try to make sure I have at least three healthy meals a day you look beautiful and fabulous.

    So, my Mom was called Nanny by all the grandkids. I called my Grandmother Gram. My cousin goes by Me-Ma and my sister called her Grandmother Mum-Mum. Kinda all over the place but I think it's cool to hear what everyone calls their Grandma.

    Your not eating to much sugar you have to remember you have changed your diet as well which will make loosing weight harder.
    I starting about 2 mouths ago and my doctor told me the same thing that I’ve changed everything I’m eating and how much I’m eating so that will make it hard because your body is eating away at your body which doesn’t show on the scales a lot to start with so don’t street to much just yet.

    Hey so this is strange. I never would have guessed but i recently learned you do need to have a calorie deficit BUT the more active you are the more you need to eat. If you are very active 1500 calories may not be enough. You may need to up it even if it’s just 1600 calories. Look into this more. I think it will help you.

    Remember to consider sodium, it can mess with weight loss for me. Also fruit has a lot of natural sugar so keep it to a minimum and watch your salad dressings

    your body might think you are staving it you need to eat a snack in the day are you on any med because they can make it hard. the coffee cream can make it hard too. good luck. I know you get busy wish your videos where more updated.

    Have you lost inches? Sometimes you lose inches before you lose pounds. The more you wear Birkenstocks, the more they mold to your feet and the more comfortable they are.

    There are sugar almost everwhere. To have an efective 2 meals a day I had to get less bigger portion. Your lost is normal for all this.

    With you exercising you are losing fat and gaining muscle so maybe it’s not showing on the scale. Do your clothes fit better? That’s where you might see it, is in the inches. Stay the course you’re doing great!!

    I will say, resistance exercises and lots of protein will help you lose weight.
