Awesome to see you have fun at the Saucer! I hope you enjoyed your time on the sky wheel. So, I mentioned the music during the ending of XVI. The two songs that play at the end of the game are essentially twins. The one in English 'My Star' seems to represent Jill's perspective, while the Japanese song 'Moongazing,' represents Clive's. Both songs are written perfectly to go with the ending scene and the start of the credits, depending on which language you play the game in. I played the game in English so I first saw the ending with 'My Star.'
While I loved XVI and both versions of the ending as a whole, the Japanese version hit me a lot harder, particularly as Clive's hand turned to stone falls to the sand. Also, the style of 'Moongazing' contrasts more with the majority of the music in the game, so the change in the tone really through me a tearjerker. If you're not too busy, I'd love to know what you think when you get the chance.
I'll definitely be dropping in to see you finish up Rebirth. The game point of no return is approaching :)

I have to admit, I didn't see the date night completely and will surely want to check on that, content wise AND your reaction. I think, I'm going to say something about Yuffie, now. This situation being weird is something a couple players have to struggle with. The situation seems so bad that they think SquareEnix can't handle this in a very gallant and smart way.
Phew, it took some time to find the right words. Guess we'll find out, one day, possibly with more potent hardware. I love replaying games, especially when there's a lot more content to discover, but this has lots of time.
While you will likely be able to play the Original FF7, one day, and watch Advent Children, I prepare some Rufus guide, now. It's incredibly satisfying to see if things work, and the guide contains 7.503 characters. More fine tuning is on the way...yes, I love it. 🥰
Oh yes, idk what the dynamic was with Yuffie in the original. I know she was an optional party member. But, I will go back and either play or watch videos of all the other "dates" before I say my opinion. But I do see her and Cloud as more "annoying little sister" and "big brother" vibes. Which I prefer for them.
And I am excited to tackle that Rufus fight again with fresh eyes. I know it's going to be hard, but I like a challenge 😉
They don't even seem to match by their outward appearance, which makes it more likely to see a pretty solid outcome for a Yuffie date. While looks don't matter for virtual characters and machines, anyway, enough players don't think about all this, fast enough. Can't blame them, still. 😀
For Rufus, I collected as much data as possible and adapted some strategies that match your preferences. Your materia is known & your equipment, and you will have all 3: Custom videos or shorts, text and images.
Interestingly, I heard that casual players have trouble with this boss because anything they did so far didn't work against Shinra's new president. Can't blame the dude for him knowing what he's doing. It didn't just happen to you. 😉 This is comforting as well as fun, because conversations with you are fun. Learning, giving people great content and all that. 🖖💘
