Just got a new 2018 spark for 20% off MSRP. The deals still going on if this incentive interests you. The car is nice and comfortable as I did trade down from a higher performance vehicle. My only gripe is I wish it were 5 seats.
@Conway Twitter Needed about $1300 worth of repairs at 55,000 miles due to a brake booster failing and the cam I believe. Wasn't covered under powertrain which I'm still wondering if thats true or not. My saving grace was that Carvana was paying a lot of money for them at the time I got rid of it. I'm in a new Toyota now and will never look back.
I just got a 2018 spark in toasted marshmallow a little over a month ago, it’s my first car. Got it used with low miles and running like new. I’m obsessed. Just relocated from south Florida to George. Had no issues on that 5hr drive at 80/90 mph. Didn’t really need to stop for gas but once. I feel safe it it and it’s awesome.
Hi everyone. I have the English version it's a Vauxhall viva over here.they only sell in in 3cyl 1 litre. But I get 50mpg around town and 60+ on the motorway
I actually own a car like this, same year and color, same options. I manage 48-60 mpg at 40-65 mph. Anything above that, it’s at 32-36 mpg. I bought it New a few months back and it’s solid, but, the plastic piece on the truck falls off over time. So, quality could be better.
Alright, math is double checked, I get 45mpg. I use a high grade fuel, coast regularly and make sure that my car is serviced. I was stretching the fuel economy but considering I drive well over 150 miles per day, I will admit the gas mileage is pretty great. Its definitely a bit lower than id like it to be in town, so roughly 28-32 in between stops if I'm doing all in town stops, but, when I get more trips on the highway, I generally do average closer to 42. The highest mpg I've gotten was about 46mpg. But, I can say driving from Colorado Springs to Denver, every other day for months my other spark [yellow 2017 chevrolet spark 1LT with the CVT] I CONSISTENTLY got 50mpg. I have checked the math, and will try to make edits as to not advertise falsely. I will still stay on the fact that its build quality could be way better. I drive a 2016 with the same specs and the gas mileage still pretty well stays where it used to, for the exception it belonged to my spouse whom sadly is extremely rough on cars so the gas mileage reflects that. Since I took it over after my car accident last April, [rip yellow spak], I consistently get anywhere between 25-32 in town and average 38 mpg on the highway but do much better when on longer trips where I can conserve fuel better. In all honesty, its extremely cheap to fill up the tank, but, the problem I have is that it never gets over 350 miles in fuel range and it burns through a full tank of gas within 2 days which seems a little flat for an "economy" car. I can admit when I'm incorrect, thank you for letting me know. Have a good day.
Drove one 2000 miles, with 30k on the odometer. I managed 40+mpg under 50mph and at 72mph it was more like 33-35mpg. At 75mph it wanted to jump around on the highway, yet it felt super solid at 65-70mph. Oh and the steering, incredibly darty at high speeds.
I drove my 2018 spark MT before at 180KPH i know i can maximize it at full 200KPH on the speedometer but i got scared and im already approaching a curve. Its losing its grip (i think its because of aerodynamics). Thats the only issue that i felt during high speeds (150kph up). But for me its steady and nice.
I had a dream that someone bought me this car and I was learning how to drive, but the car in my dream was coral. I think I dreamed about this because I kept seeing this car in light blue driving up and down my neighborhood 💀
i bought chevy beat diesel in india in au g2012,but chevy is bycout since from dec 2k17 so but still my car running very great...miss u chevy pls comeback in india...we r waiting for u
I own 2018 Chevrolet Spark LS. Automatic, Air conditioning, 7in Touch Screen, Back up camera. Red on black. Great little car for Los Angeles California Traffic Thank you 👍
Got a 2015 brand new for cheap. It's bright ass salsa red and I think it's adorable. Saw the new design and am a bit disappointed. I dont like it like mine ;-; Averaging 30 mpg in town when delivering pizza and 35 on a 55 mph hwy. It's tougher than it looks. I've gone bouncing down muddy driveways and the customer tells me they thought I was going to slide into a ditch (ha I'm a professional...) I've taken it to college classes on cattle where we had to drive through the pasture to reach a barn. I might be the only one who avoided the pigweed but I still made it :) It's a great little car and it comes in all sorts of fun colors. Never lose track of my car and I'm sure the owner of the purple one doesnt either
P&M nice video and nice little car too, but to be honest $17K plus it is way too expensive, I want to buy a new car and I really like the Chevy sparks, but for a tiny car like that at that price I really prefer to look around a little longer the most that I will pay for this car in cash is $12.000 and not a penny more, sorry but I just ben honest.
Hey Clarence Blackwell, yes you right but that is the base model price Clarence, the model on the video is the next level up, the LT that is $4.000 plus other paper work fees more than the base model, why pay $4.000 plus more for an LT just because it has power windows couple other extras? you could said well then get the base model then but the point is that is a lot of money for a little car like this even the $13.000 base model is too much Clarence, the other day I went to enterprise car rental because they have use car for sale and I saw this beautiful spark LT 41.000 miles $11.000 that is not including tax and paper work, I mean come on, nothing against you Clarence but the reality is that todays cars are just way too expensive, sorry man you look very enthusiastic on the video and that is cool, the way you explain about the car … well, first class man but the price, no, but once again Clarence, awesome video.
Clarence, wow $7.800 and only 15.000 miles? man awesome, yeah I think I`m looking at the wrong places, you bought your car at a dealer or private? thank you Clarence Blackwell.
Thank you for the review but I'd like to respectfully point out that the Spark is not "the smallest chevy ever made." The Chevrolet Sprint was a much smaller car...2 inches shorter and 700 pounds lighter than the Spark. First and second generation Geo Metro hatchbacks are 4" and 6" longer respectfully but hundreds of pounds lighter. Add to that the Chevette, and the Daewoo built Pontiac Lemans Hatchback which were longer than the Spark but like the Geo's, weigh less. Lastly, ALL of these cars had FAR less horsepower than the Spark. 55 - 75 HP compared to the Spark's 98 HP. Not trying to troll you brother...I love tiny cheap cars and just wanted to respectfully point that out.

Sure wish a Chevy Spark car was made in America with American parts, assembled by American workers. Engine made in Korea, transmission from Japan. I about fell outta my chair when I read the build sheet! Thanks Obama!!
Well that's the thing! Every U.S. job went to overseas markets, all my jobs the last 10 years went to Mexico or China. Not that they make bad products, but when Chevy was American made by people who worked for them in America, made a great paycheck! But thanks for corporate greed to send our stuff away! Anyway I bought a new 2018 Chevy Spark and I love it!
I got a 2017 standard one and it is fairly good for the price. I use it mostly in the city but even when I go on the highway, it's fairly stable.

Wow good millage, not bad at all really, yeah it is a good car James Berry I think I will buy one very soon thanks for sharing, good man.

DarkLinkAD that sounds dangerous and horrible
@@coreyh.1030 The Ford Fiesta was far worse. It was darty and jumpy at 60mph+

@@AthowTVXQ i bought spark MT with the same color. I highly recommend it. Power weight ratio is great. The color is brimestone btw.
This and the Nissan Versa Note hatchback are fun to drive and imo are as fun as cars twice the price.
