- In this episode we will be discussing if this crashbar / engine guard is worth buying for the Yamaha Bolt. I have put many miles and crashes on this cage so I will have a wonderful idea of wether or not it is worth the money. I'm thinking about buying these soley to use highway pegs...... I think these would probably be perfect for that.
I completely agree, they might even sell some generic foot pegs that could clamp on them.
Dude I feel the same way about not having crash protection on my bike. I’ll still scrape some pegs but as far as really playing around, I want some sort of protection first. Great video man 🤙🏽
Definitely get the protection, it makes everything a lot more fun knowing that you won’t destroy your bike if it tips over

great review man. I have these same bars and I love them. I Need That sattleman seat soo damn bad lmao. The Cobra bars i just put on my buddies vstar1300 seemed way more beefy lol.

I have similar bars, but I think a little bigger, and they protected some but not for the foot pegs. Im glad I have them though. Today I dropped my bike and broke my rear turn signal 🤦🏾♀️
Hope you are ok! Drops are definitely a part of riding, they are inevitable to happen. That’s not bad at all, a little annoying to have to do the turn signals but now you can upgrade them!(:

@@insanejane522 it is, I have one for the rear which is the install of the license plate holder that has them integrated. And the other is for the front ones but the concept is the same.

I have these on my bolt and i wrecked my bolt a week ago and it protected my engine atleast, everything else though broke so yeah im just happy my engine is okay tbh

@@Tardy_Productions oh yeah man i made it out just fine thanks lol it comes with it when practicing wheelies am i right?, but yeah one side did bend but it protected my engine which is all i was hoping for

Side note, crash bars for the Bolts work A LOT better when the ass end isn’t all jacked up in the air like it got kicked by a donkey. 😂

@@Caciqv3 the bolt was definitely a good choice after dude! Plus now that you have the bolt there’s probably not a huge reason to keep both
