I have a Z Fold 3, but if Samsung releases the same old specs, I'm going with the Pixels Fold 2 for the screens sizes.
They need to realize they can only drag their feet so long.
Samsung has to bring an ultra with a bigger front display. They can't keep losing on that to competition. There is nothing different between 4-5-6 really. No innovation. All we are getting is faster processor and better hinge.

I won't be upgrading my ZFOLD3 if there's no bigger screen.
I love how people think that the Z-fold 6 is going to be so much better because it's "wider" LMFAO!! They shorten it 1.4mm and widened it 2.6mm. Does anyone realize how much wider that is?? IT'S VIRTUALLY NOTHING! 2.6mm is the width of the bezel!!! ON ONE SIDE!! if you don't believe me than take a pair of calipers and measure it in mm. They better come out with an ULTRA with real change or Samsung can kiss my butt goodbye! If they can't do the one main thing we've been asking for, they they don't deserve my money for a phone that is virtually the same as the fold 5. Still narrow, same cameras, same hinge, same crease, no S-Pen. All your getting is pointed corners (to make it LOOK bigger), AI (to get you hooked, then charge you later for it) and the Gen 3 processor (that you can't tell the difference from the Gen 2 without putting it on the tech bench). I'm tied of supporting Samsung for 4 years of minimal change. For me, it's either an Ultra with most or all the bells and whistles. Yes I know I'll have to pay more but I'm willing to for a "best of everything phone" or I'll go to the PIXEL FOLD 2.

@@scottulrich4200Well said. Same for me too. This keeps happening with Samsung. The rumors start out great with everything that we ask for and then as we get closer to the release date of the next iteration, they dial it back more and more until there is nothing to get excited about. Unless we hear about the Ultra with what we want, I am going Pixel Fold 2.

So the inner display on the ZFOLD6 won't be any bigger than the ZFOLD3? 🤬 that cancels my interest of upgrading immediately.
How big will the screen be on the ULTRA model?
I am hoping they release two models and the one we see here is the budget cheaper one. Hopefully if they have an ultra it will at least have a bigger outside screen. An spen slot and better camera would be nice too but I want that bigger screen

And not only that I want them to release a plus version of their "for Galaxy Snapdragon" 8 gen 3 I want this to be an overclocked Beast same thing with like an tab S10 Ultra

1.4mm shorter and 2.6mm wider LMAO! 2.6 is the width of the bezel on one side of the phone!! Nothing's changed with THIS Galaxy Z-fold 6. There better be an Ultra with the better stuff on it or I'm going to the PIXEL FOLD 2 or ONE PLUS OPEN.
I hope the Ultra has a bigger screen. I'm liking Pixel's bigger display but I'm going to miss 65w of the OnePlus Open.

Ive been sitting on the z fold 3 waiting for the SIMPLE change we all wanted and asking for. 1) bigger front display 2) give us the best cameras for the price we are paying 3) make it thinner. Other competitors have done all this already

Currently have the OnePlus Open as edc, but also have a Z-4 as my backup phone. If Samsung cannot/will not improve the front screen size to make it a normal carry I will then trade in my Z-4 and purchase the Google Pixel Fold 2 and their watch.
Is the software experience better to you on samsung fold then the oneplus open?
@dexter7939 yes its much better software on the Samsung then the oneplus open and that's why I can't take my main sim card out of my z fold 4 and put it in the oneplus open the z fold 4 is better
I already traded in my Z4 for the S24 Ultra and it's the smartest decision ever especially after the vibrant colors update, I got it right on time bro and the battery is absolutely fantastic getting like 16+ hours on a single charge, i don't miss the gimmick fold phones at all 😂😂
@mrbigtymer78 I traded an old crappy phone toward an S24 ultra with my carrier plan and traded my z fold 4 in for a tab s9 lol. I like having a phone now that is good at everything a phone does, and a tablet that is also good at everything a tablet does...unlike the z fold which does neither well, just okay.
For everyone complaining about the Z Fold 6 being the same as the 3 4 and 5, it's not, slight design change as it's squared rather than rounded like the 3 4 and 5, also the 6 might have a titanium frame with new ultrathin glass for the inner display. Also the camera design on the back isn't final that could change. I have a Z Fold 3 and I think upgrading to the 6 is worth it alone for the software updates as the Z Fold 3 doesn't get anymore updates after Android 14.
I have always upgraded to the next samsung z fold phones but if we dont get significant upgrades to compete with other foldables. I will be moving on. Unexcusable, for what we are paying for it should have the best of the best.
Samsung is lacking in innovation and they should just get the hell out of this folding phone market! There's no significant upgrade from z fold 2-5, and now to z fold 6. Except for the soc.
I remember just before the official announcement of the z fold 5 (where I was considering an upgrade), some Samsung employee tweeted on twitter/X that the changes/upgrades of the z fold 5 compared to its predecessor is so minimal, next to 0, that it shouldn't be called "z fold 5" but rather "z fold 4s"!!

Is fold 6 doesnt have a front display similar to a regular phone seems terrible. I won't buy if that's the case.

If there's no Fold Ultra, I won't be buying this Fold 6. I've been extremely patient, and Samsung has already gotten money from me on the Fold 3, Fold 4, and Fold 5. A titanium frame, minimally wider cover display, and a boxier look.. aren't enough to stop me from switching to the Pixel Fold 2. Fold Ultra or nothing from Samsung. Fold Ultra should include a much larger screen, bigger battery, and flagship cameras. If not, I don't think I'll be the only one switching Foldables.
Samsung could be making a huge mistake by keeping the phone so narrow. 2.5mm wider is tiny, almost not even noticeable. Fold 2 might be the winner here by a whole lot.

Well obviously the z fold will always be the better phone because the pixel can't compete with Samsung but if Samsung comes out with that nonsense phone and doesn't release a z fold 6 ultra then the pixel fold 2 is the one to get just because im not letting Samsung screw me over with this nonsense upgrade
