i mean this in the nicest, most “i love this” way possible, Rye has a Really good voice for describing rundown environments. just a little bit of despair for flavor but not tortured, it’s really good.
Honestly thank you so much. As it's my first time doing something like this, I was struggling finding the balance between depressed sounding and bored sounding.

Borrowed the book from the library just so I can read along with this audiobook! So excited for it!
Omg same!! I didn't want to buy a book I'd probably only read once, so I also went to my library and checked it out
This story actually gave me chills, imagine being stuck with a monster in your house while everyone thinks it’s your dad… there are some weird parts to the story like the rabbits motivations being unclear (why was it pretending to be the dad, after all at the start and at the end it just wanted to kill Oswald, so why couldn’t it have just done it?)
I think it was trying to relive two of Afton’s desires. Killing the kids at the pizzeria then wanting to be a father of the family. Pit Bonnie finally went to kill Oswald when he was trying to save his real dad.
That's just called having an abusive parent lol
I hope this doesn't get copyright slapped, because this slaps! Good stuff. I'd recommend extending the pause/silence between vastly different scenes a tiny bit more maybe, there was one (1) scene change that felt a bit jarring because you didn't really pause between the two (or no more than between two regular paragraphs, I suppose). Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable reading/audiobook! I'd never realized how long the setup before Oswald actually goes into the pit is, since I've only listened to a bunch of different summaries and haven't read the Frights books.
Keep 'em coming! I'm looking forward to listening to listening to your interactive novel reading! (I hadn't noticed it was on your main channel, ahah)
Ozone is another channel that's read the books, so we should be blessed to keep Rye's reading👍

i’ve never been a fan of audio books due to the fact that it was hard for me to visualize the setting or whats going on. but your pronunciation and attention to make each character have a distinct voice for themselves made this super easy to follow along. i could just envision it in my head and could easily follow the story. granted i’m listening to this after watching the Into the Pit gameplay so it’s easy to visualize it.
but i am super grateful for the way you read the book. thank you so much for helping me get into audiobooks! i’ve been wanting to for a while but had a bad start to it with a hard to understand narrator.
i hope you keep up the good work and end up reading the rest of the series! i would be super delighted to watch / listen to another audiobook that you read!

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I'd never read the story before and really wanted to know it before the game came out!! I was so nervous towards the end, I wasn't sure if it was going to be a good or bad ending!!
I noticed in the game that they toned down Oswald's brattiness a lot. This definitely reads like a "be careful what you wish for" story that's common with the Fazbear Frights books.
Oswald wanting to hide in the ballpit to punish his dad makes more sense here than in the game, where Oswald doesn't really feel that angry at his dad, but decides to hide in the ballpit anyway. I have to admit, character-wise it makes more sense here. Maybe Scott figured players who'd play the game would've read the original story first, or it could be a revision of sorts?

OMG I LOVE THIS RYETOAST! This is great because it will show a lot of new comers what the book and how the newest game is like and understand a lot more. And if mega cat studio ever want to do more projects with the books your videos will def help a lot of people!

I didn’t expect to like this so much! Everyone who talks about the books on RUclips always sound like they’re complaining but I didn’t have any issues with this one. Maybe it’s an anomaly, or Rye is just really good at reading
