there's no point in trying to explain it to him, as soon as he responded to the tears part of the song and just kept going on about how it was scary, I knew that the dude has zero depth or complexity at all. like how can you not hear the sadness in her voice and see the hurt on her face in the quiet pauses... He's got the emotional complexity of a 6-year-old. this is only the second song I've heard from Billie eilish so I'm definitely not defending her from the standpoint of a fan, but the song hit me on a certain level, whereas I don't even think he has a level worth mentioning. shy would I want to see someone's reaction to things when it's pretty much a foregrown conclusion that they won't have any substance in the reaction anyways? First and last view from me, personally...I'm out.
