Thank you for showing where those darn turn signal wires are. I picked up a set of these expensive D&C VSL's (can't say I'm impressed, especially for the $$$) but wanted to hook up the turn indicators too. Jeep did a remarkable job hiding the turn indicator wires. Thanks!!!

A bit of advice on soldering, I couldn’t tell if you were doing this, but add some silicone past to the connection to insure it doesn’t get water corrosion before you put the heat shrink on. A little extra insurance. Keep up the great work
Nice! Saw some comments about the cost, but when I saw they come pre-painted, then that makes all the difference. Even of you spray them yourself, the cost of materials alone makes these a good deal. Oh, & they're cool 😜
Love the lights, my JL has a slew of lights because we jeep at night often here in Arizona. I will be looking into a set of these soon. Keep on jeepen.
Really good video! I was really surprised on how far they threw the light! Personally I like the lighting built into panels... One less thing to whistle in the wind and less wind resistance.
i was gonna say during the day time that side blinker looked kinda cheesy, but at night those really pop. the side light and turn signal lol! That's where I have my ham antenna mounted on the mopar bracket that sits over those, I might have to think about some other kind of mount, a side shooter like that would be very handy.
Especially for your line of work! I don’t remember what mopars look like off hand, but know some brackets fit right over it... but this will look great, function great and serve me for years to come!

I love the idea behind these. I'm looking to get flat fenders for my JK and am not a fan of any of the side marker/turn signal options. This would solve that Nd be great for camping/overlanding.
Go for it! they should have JK models available soon. But these lights will be great for the night wheeling. navigating an obstacle, fixing a rig, filming and just hanging around. Great times to be had!!!

If you go to a body shop to have a fender replaced and painted it could be even more than that, certainly not less. I agree with your notion in some areas, like companies that buy the materials elsewhere then piece it together like Legos here so that they can charge a premium. Thats shameful, but in America business is expensive so products are expensive. It sucks but its reality.

U should be fine with light trails.... I was full sending mine on 38s... I did manage to twist an axle shaft. But again... I put the hammer down from time to time
These 3rd gen dana 44 axles can handle 37" tires. I have been doing 6,7,and 8 rated trails at sand hollow no problem. Many of JT's run 37" tires and do just fine on stock axles.

Really depends where u looking to throw light... as you see in my video, I still have my pod lights... they light up just outside of my headlight throw... these d&c designs handle everything in the 90 degree angle.

Just a useful tip , you shouldn’t touch the solder to the tip of your iron. That’s why it’s all corroded which is what your wires will look like in about 6 months of use and then will fail. Other than that great setup
A better mousetrap might be to use waterproof wire nuts .Home Depot. Electricians use them in septic tanks on the pumps that are buried in a different kind of MUD. There also used when buried underground for landscapers. lighting and sprinkler systems. comes with silicone in side of it , sizes range also. Quick and Easy.

Personally I feel that $500 is a bit excessive for some fixed lights, a set of quality pods and brackets with a switch system for future expandability would do you much better in terms of functionality and save yourself the money. Also if you have a problem with people seeing your lifted Jeep with 35+ in tires on the high way, invest in some body armor and make your highway a demolishing derby

Yea, I really like the switch pro, but all the wires that spawn out of it can be.... cumbersome. When I get time, Ill be doing some clean up and management under there. Just neck deep in a handful of projects to go chasing this project down.

Thanks for the instructions on how to find the turn signal wires. The instructions did not have that key piece of information.

So headlights cover 90 degrees in front... the new lights hit 90 degrees to the side... and my pod lights feel the 45 degree angle

This is the problem with fucking jeep shit, $475.00 for these lights when I can drill and fill with weatherproof, waterproof led button lights and have just as good results.

Yes, they are a little pricey, I’ll agree. But you have a start up business who works full time doing other things taking time to design, mock up, produce and trouble shot a product from scratch. All while managing to keep everything made in the USA. It’s hard to compete with China prices and larger companies. But hey, I love the idea of a diy kit.
