I had that happen to me, it was what n.y.p.d calls an observation sale, basically that means they didnt make the buy with marked money, they saw me cop, they saw where dude had his stash, i was 5 steps from my building door, when o heard beakes sqeakin n doors opening i knew who was about to be on me, i could hear his steps, i knew he was mad as hell when he saw my hand go to my mouth!!!
