r1-r2 is element of R. a is any fixed element. Then when you operate r1-r2 with "a" then it will belong to " Ra". Because Ra ={ra: r belongs to r and "a" is any fixed element of R}. It's very simple, but some time when u study deeply small things also make us confuse.
