Semi's Load Early, Merry Christmas. I enjoyed the after the semi left, talk. A friend of mine works Almonds, he runs about 500+ colonies down to Almonds each year between him and his buddy, he mentioned to me I can send bees with him when I'm ready. It's good that they have extra food on them, it maybe a wet Spring on the West Coast this year. Almond contracts are down a bit this year, keep an eye on your contract and your bees. A lot of pollinators are chipping their pallets with GPS now days, a lot of theft going on out in CA. Also CA is checking the incoming Trucks HARD at the weight stations, be sure your Truck and Trailer are SUPER CLEAN.
Thank God for men like Ron ... only way those weren't heading west today he was dead and maybe they been delayed long enough to clear the body .. I'll have to show celba how to feed inverted cheaper than that corn syrup he'd sent the 300 today
People will argue with you over anything, it's not exclusive to beekeeping.🤣 😒It's modern society not beekeeping. Tell Caleb thanks for the after talk, Merry Christmas everyone.👍
It's difficult to find a frame feeder that only takes up 1 frame space, what brand? Mine seemed to kick drones out early over here in SW WA. In my opinion CCD is just an excuse for what we do not understand yet. The "Experimentation" It's not Illegal it's just Off label and beekeepers have the Legal Right to Experiment, you can check the official site for classifications and guidelines. Some of the changes are fairly new, I think Randy did a talk on it. 🤢Almond Honey is NASTY.🤮
It depends on the contract and the number of frames of bees in the box, some contracts will take smaller numbers but pay less. Most contracts what 6 or 8 frames of bees per box minimum.
Oh my !!!! Impressive, bees will enjoy the warmer temps, I would 😂 you are an inspiration to us all, thanks
Merry Christmas to you and Casey
