Was just going to put this in the comments. Tim might even sing it a bit better. I think Billy should credit him before singing it. Glen Campbell always tried to do stuff like that.
Ya Dylan version is a masterpiece and I like this but I think that's a little carried away. Maybe Jerry's version is better but I hate how people because his voice isn't as pretty as they want knock his songs. Just cause jimmy didn't watchtower better doesn't mean everyone does his songs better.
I'll give you that, but I'm OCD on smudges, be it guitars, firearms, etc. They take away from the beauty of the item. Also, on the guitar, when the lighting hits it, that's all you see. I'm just an old (73) rocker trying to survive. I just discovered Billy Strings and love his music. Thanks for replying.
"This place don't make sense to me no more
.
Can you tell me what we're waiting for, senor?" - 2020
Lets disconnect the cables!
I like how Failing always has his back. They play like 1 and that gives them this special sound.
One of my favorite Dylan tunes,
Tim O'Brien kills it as well !
Sounds killer !
Tim O'Brien's version trumps Dylan's, Billy's, no one can top it.
This is my favorite Dylan song, hands down.
I know I´m a little baked, but that set of solos - I´ve never heard anything like it. It came from beyond the moon!!
Billy sings this song like Bob wrote it for him to sing ...my GOD this is talent ...
Billy's version is heavily influenced by Tim O'Brian. With that said, Bob has to loving on this as he loved the Bluegrass music.
The whole band is immensely talented... but damn if that lap steel doesn’t just hit you in the heart directly
directly!
Not sure why this is one of my favorite versions by Billy of this song.
Because Billy plays it better then Dylan
Tim O'Brien deserves a credit on this, really - it's a cover of his re-imagining of the song.
Was just going to put this in the comments. Tim might even sing it a bit better. I think Billy should credit him before singing it. Glen Campbell always tried to do stuff like that.
That was brilliant 👍👍
What a great version.
I had plans to see Billy Strings & Co this summer...
They do such a 🔥🔥🔥 cover of this song!
one of my favorite songs by Mr. Zimmerman
This is such a great song and I´m so grateful for this recording! LOVE
glad you enjoyed it!
So good !!!
This is a great song whether performed by Robert Zimmerman, Tim O'Brien, Jerry Garcia or Billy Strings.
Willie Nelson too
I would add Bob Weir to that list.
Or Bob Dylan. The guy that actually wrote the song.
@@KingKillersKastleKKK my man, you know who Robert Zimmerman is?
I just saw Tim O’Brien play this two weeks ago actually
Euphoric 😎

Love and much appreciation all y’all! ❤️
Ahhhhh love

Well how about that, here I am thinking, "when are these guys going to tackle Red on Blonde?" Cool.
Make contact with the Lord,.. cie, senor?!!!
as always...everyone does Dylan better than Dylan. not a slam but a nod to the guy who wrote most of the most important songs of my lifetime.
dylans version is epic

Damn he mutilated that Great song!
Please, please clean the smudge off of your guitar. It's such a beautiful instrument to be seen like that. Love your music.
A SMUDGED GUITAR IS A PLAYED GUITAR :p
Billy played with so many people that weekend I dont think he had time to clean that guitar!
I'll give you that, but I'm OCD on smudges, be it guitars, firearms, etc. They take away from the beauty of the item. Also, on the guitar, when the lighting hits it, that's all you see. @@LessThanFaceProductions1 Copy that. It was a marathon of virtuosity. I have not seen anything like it.
