I think the stat line is deceiving. The Bears haven’t punted much within their own 30 yard line. They are punting mostly around mid field because the defense has gotten great field position for the offense. Because of this, Taylor doesn’t need to punt long. When we have needed a long punt, he delivers

its not an over reaction honestly, our team has been a disgrace for about 30+ years. Every year "its an overreaction" and then they fall into the same problems with different name tags. Its easy to have a short memory as a fan. But the Bears havent been good albeit 2 random years where they ended up dropping the ball. Its time for them to stop talking and actually provide a product that fans can get behind. Because peddling fake hope has out worn its welcome. Although i disagree with these guys a lot. Im tired of watching us lose. Last 4 years we are 16-37. Thats pathetic. We havent had a winning season since 2018 and before then even longer. They need to put their money where their mouth is.

At least they’re tryin to make an effort to turn it around and asking the players what they can do to change. I get it’s early but I don’t see it as a red flag. It’s a new offense new Qb new center. I get it doesn’t look pretty but Caleb is gettin better every week and the schemes are gonna be better cuz he is reaching out and askin his players what he can do better. Yet, we can't find a skilled head coach or offensive people, plus - we have a newbie at GM who, aside from the luck of the back-to-back picks, has only spent lots of cap space and made picks that haven't really moved the team forward. How about this amazing idea to think on, this ain’t the early 2000’s you don’t develop QB’s by being a run heavy team the Bears have done that for decades. Waldron was brought in to be a pass first team. I’ve never seen a fanbase act like they know what it looks like to develop a QB and then there answer be oh yea do what the Bears have been doing for decades which is just run the ball. No it’s to pass the dam ball 37-40 times a game if you don’t like it then stop watching the team play. Waldron and Flus are going about it the right way stop trying to do what the Bears have historically done and neuter the dam QB and baby him let him grow by giving him everything you would ask a veteran to do that’s how you develop a QB. I swear it’s like the fanbase is scared of change but then constantly cry about why we haven’t found a franchise QB. The guy who was on is correct Waldron in Seattle was at the bottom of the NFL in rushing attempts but wasn’t in rush yards, touchdowns, yards per carry and explosive runs that is called a offense that’s built on the pass game with explosive runs it’s why the Bears signed Swift because he can be explosive in both areas. The real problem is the OL’s lack of effort they are constantly slow off the ball in pass blocking and run blocking and that includes Teven. This fanbase and its media members are full of hypocrites who just like to fire every coach and repeat the cycle then in 2 years bitch about the Bears firing the coaches and repeating the cycle lmao. I know for a fact all of you media members and fans would’ve killed the Bears if they signed Kubiak or Kliff ( which I was against both because I know they are going to fall off a cliff come mid season when teams have way more tape on them ) y’all always bitch why do the Bears keep hiring first time play callers and now that y’all see early “success” you want those guys instead of the proven guy Waldron. The whole story is being blown way out of proportion y’all keep bringing up JSN and the Waldron comments as a negative but completely ignore that Waldron was trying to coach JSN and that Seahawks offense and guys just weren’t coachable so he probably came to the Bears with a bad taste in his mouth and didn’t want to piss off the Bears players not knowing if they can accept his coaching now that he does know they want to be coached expect for progress and no it won’t be immediate that will take time. I’ve said it a million times no fan can make any judgment of this team until week 7 at least.

These knuckleheads don't have a clue. It's all in Poles lap. Coaches are hired and fired by whom? Claypool, Roquan Smith, Montgomery, Mooney, Valus Jones, Swift and he's had 3 years to fix the O-line. For Christ sakes Ray Charles can see Poles is in over his head. Mccaskey's always hire the cheapest not the best.

I never really liked Potash in the media room, but I love his insight and takes in a podcast setting. He's a good guest

Mark should be the only journalist asking the coaching staff questions at every press conference.
