I've started rewatching New Girl a while ago, and then this happened. Oh well, I tried to keep it short but obviously failed. I've been in love with these two since the pilot aired.
Rendering this video was a pain, and I am already sick of the song and the video itself. Also, I can see so many things I would change or fix, but just can't be bothered anymore, so here goes.
Oh, and also, can we just all agree that their first kiss was one of the best TV kisses to ever exist?! I could watch that scene on repeat, no jokes. "I meant something like that" ❤️

I started to ship them so hard since the pilot episode, season 1 episode 1, when nick had a chance to go with caroline but he dropped it and ran away to find jess than sang the song "I had the time of my life" from Dirty Dancing and Jess started to cry.
Me too! I cheered when he drove past Caroline's house and ended up back at the loft, and when he FINALLY told Caroline why he didn't move in with him I literally cheered so loudly it was crazy.
"I'm tired of you being the only person who doesn't see how incredible you are" was such an intense scene and it's one of my favourites from the entire show
Gorgeous video. Wow. The chemistry between Jake and Zooey is ONE OF A KIND. They will always have the BEST TV KISS ever. And I'm still disappointed that the writers chose to give them a "goofy/eye patch" wedding instead of a beautiful and sweet wedding that they deserved so much! Also, the first 3 seasons were the best. I'm ignoring S4 and half of S5.

If it makes you feel better, I think they did the eyepatch thing because it was something that actually happened to one of the creators of the show on her wedding day. Also, I didn't mind the untraditional wedding because Nick and Jess make it clear in the episode that they don't really care how they get married, just that they get to marry each other and spend their lives together. 😊💕

I literally skipped S4 and 5 except the Schmidt and cece episodes and then 6 I watched again for only a couple scenes of jealous Jess and the elevator scene
I hated the Reagan part 😂
Honestly my favorite thing for this whole thing is that the drive in movie was “Dirty Dancing” it just ties it perfectly to the beginning and it’s so amazing.

I’ve watched New girl all the way through 4 times…it still breaks me when they break up. They deserved to be endgame. Literally the episodes between the time they break up and get back together are so mentally draining 😭❤️

It's october 2021 and I just finished watching this whole show after 1 month. I really loved all the cute moments of them. Nick is so handsome and I just loved the whole gang and the whole show.. Aaargh what do I do noooow.

I KNEW that they were gonna get together from first season. Like u can see how jealous they were before they got together. I still think Nick only wanted Jess to break up with the first guy cos he was jealous, but he didn't know.
They deserved suuuuch a better ending. It was so short and we should’ve gotten more they deserve more. I loved that they got back together but it was only 8 episodes and at skipped three years it’s crazy. We only got 2 seasons of them together and even though I liked when they were broken up too. Kinda. But they deserved a better ending to the best love story on tv. ❤️ 😭

That's real love .You see I don't want to marry anybody or have children..... Just because I can never image myself doing something like this. I can't even imagine how it is to be truly in love with someone, the thought of it scares me because if that person fails you , then you will be distroyed but, I'm willing to take that risk for something like this. Literally when they met for the first time, I knew that they were going to get together at some point. I got so attached to them being together eventually that 3 episodes in, I had to spoil the entire relationship by reading the wiki to ensure that they'd be end game. I didn't want to spend so long watching the show unless they got together
How does one not fall in love with someone who looks at you like that...if I was Jess..I would've fallen for Nick in real life lol
