BT - Stadium (2001, UK)

MrSimon just today ranted about that cookie-cutter Nescafé Gold advert in which a selfish sod assembles a good thousand people in a stadium and singles out those who don't have anything to do with him, just so those who do can have a nice cuppa with him, comparing it to a more on-brand ad it apparently plagiarised where people find answers not just from the ones they know but a whole new world, representing online communication in 2001, basically. So I did my duty, searched for the best possible online copy of this ad, and uploaded it here. Directed by Jake Scott at RSA Films.

Such a lovely advert. If there were ever an awards ceremony for adverts (there might be, don't quote me on that!), then this would definitely get my vote.
