If you like rap, you can try Cheers by seventeen leaders (SVT is composed of 3 groups : rap, singing, and dance, and each group has a leader. This song is only by the 3 leaders). They have more upbeat songs like left and right and haju nice. One really famous song by them is also don't wanna cry, which is more sad. Hit is more of a dance track if you want to see them dance. Also, if you can't connect with their music, I also advise you to look into their variety shows because they are honestly the funniest group out here. Don't be afraid for the names, the more you watch their content, the easier it is, you don't have to force it. Well, I really hope you'll fall for Seventeen as I fell for them, they are one of the most well rounded group out there, self producing their songs, doing their own choreography and even creating their own content !

S.Coups (leader, main rapper) player of the group, lmao. I think u need to hear their rap. They have a great rap unit. Plus, the leaders of the units can rap too. Try Cheers. It is the leaders song there is an MV. Also, watching unit songs might ease ur stress. Listening to the lyric vids u can pay attention more to the song and meaning and that may help too. Trauma is by the rap line. It's good too. They actually have a lot of rap songs. Try Fear and Shadow too.

Also, the one you like in Enhypen is called Jungwon, he is the second youngest and the leader of the group. He is an all rounder that dances and sings well. ever since I stan ATEEZ, such as listening to their song, watch their performance etc. I always immersed to every single song in this world and when I listen to their song I feel like I'm in the other world doing rebellion and some adventures, the impact they gave to me is really that big. my kpop idol's performance standard is rising so high because of them. now I haven't seen anybody else do it as good as them.

Ateez do have a storyline that goes through all their albums! It's about teenagers who got dragged into a revolution against an oppressive government in a dystopian parallel dimension where all emotions and all kinds of art are banned, people are brainwashed and mind-controlled and music wakes them up.
I hope you'll get to see Ateez live one day, their concerts are absolutely insane, 15k people screaming BREAK THE WALL is an incredible experience (BTW, all the vids from their concert tour DVDs are safe to react to, KQ never blocks their own stuff).
Their other rapper is Song Mingi, he's also one of the main dancers.
If you'd like to listen to something less aggressive from them try Deja Vu, Answer, The Real, Inception, Say My Name.

@@lunapigeon Ateez lore can be extra confusing for two reasons especially - one is that the MVs from the first series of albums, Treasure, were not showing the story in the chronological order, it was more like teasers and flashbacks, establishing some themes and playing with us a bit, making us guess where everything was going, then the second series of albums, Fever, went back and started the story properly, it even had a prologue video called Diary Film. The other reason is that they always say that their concept is pirates (urban fantasy style pirates with some Peter Pan influences) but they aren't actually there in their story yet, we've only had a lot of foreshadowing and many seafaring themed lyrics and choreos :)

I really think Jungwon is the most talented man in Enha. I'm not saying others aren't good, but he is really on top at everything. That's why he is often in the center. He always stands out. He reminds me Jungkook a lot when he performs.

Do check out more of their music, they are so incredibly versatile. Halazia, Say my name, the Real & Answer are some of their best title tracks. I recommend their b-sides too like Cyberpunk, the Leaders & Precious. For live performances, their Immortal Songs performance of Black Cat Nero & the Kingdom performances are the best to start with.
I, since I started listening to K-pop in 2019, was avoiding Seventeen. This year, "Killing Voice" got the better of me, and well... there's no saving me now!
When I listened to their discography, it turned out that I knew many songs without realizing that they were by them. They are fantastic as a group, they have great interactions within the group, they are charming, cheerful, and very interesting. (you to look into their variety shows because they are honestly the funniest group!)

You should watch ATEEZ's videos separately and put them all together so that you know more about their Lore/Storyline and understand them more or less, they are very complex than other groups (since they don't have one).

Yes, Ateez are amazing and I got the chance to see their concert here in Brazil last month. They are the kings of performance and I can assure you that when Guerrilla played, I legit felt like the entire stage was going to collapse, because the energy from both ateez and the crowd was insane!! Best song to see live from them, by far!

also as you know enhypen by now, Yeonjun participated in their song "Block buster". As far as I know, when the production of that song could not be completed, Bang PD (producer) asked Yeonjun to create a rap for it. So he created a rap for it and did the collaboration. Yeonjun is a rapper who is in hiding. If you listen to that song, you will understand how talented he is as a rapper

From SEVENTEEN songs I recommend you HOT or HIT, they're some of my favorite songs and mv's, because I had the same problem with had no conexion with the group. For Seventeen if you want rap then you need to listen to their Hip Hop Unit. You should react to their Trauma Mv, Check In MV and Getting Closer these are all more rap oriented songs by Seventeen members. When the whole group is together it tends to focus more on vocals with a little rap thrown in. Seventeen really does a great discography and can do any genre of music since the members are talented in all areas. That is why they broke the record in album sales in Korea.
