The ownership have a plan, clearly in football it doesnt work like it does in baseball, or it takes 5 years which is a no go. Their last chance to get this club back to what it was is by changing the directors for one top director, replacing pochettino with mourinho, amorim, flick or zidane. After that, sign the players we NEED, Osimhen, a top CB, an experienced midfielder like Palhinha and a LB. Push for davies, keep maatsen. Sign a top keeper. Change the medical team for the best in the business. Then sell the players that arent capable of playing at the top pl level. Then let the manager donhis work for a seasom, with preseason, and then assess

I told you , you mentioned "new hope" and I commented you need to focus on losing 2-0 lead rather than scoring two goals in 2 minutes. Football doesn't work that way. Things don't get fixed suddenly overnight. Chelsea is not coached properly, and even if Chelsea would have won today, I still said this team will drop points and won't go much high in the table
I just hope Chelsea gets to that conclusion sooner rather than later and start searching for new manager for summer
Good post. It is human to be thrilled with a snatching-victory-from-the-jaws-of-defeat story but to base any sort of 'new hope' on two incredibly fortunate goals (softest penalty of the year and a classic deflection away from the goalkeeper) is only ever going to lead to more disappointment real quickly. And like you said, it draws attention away from going from a commanding position to a losing position. Very few could have argued that Chelsea would have been unlucky had they lost that game 3-2, and it can be argued that it would have been a lot better for the club and fanbase as a whole, as the cold water of reality really needs to hit the club properly. This floundering between optimism and doom is what delays the actual 'process' that needs to happen.
Up till this point I haven't criticized Poch, but bringing Badiashile into any match, at any point in the match, is playing with fire. I've been saying this for weeks. Poch refuses to learn.

How anyone believed having a 5ft 9 220m midfield with no physicality, no productivity was gonna work, is truely beyond me.

THIS is why I said not to get too happy with the win against United. This team is AVERAGE at best. When Pochetino continues to set up this way, we will continue to see results like this. I agree its not all down to the manager - our defence is shocking, midfield is AVERAGE, and without Palmer our attack is mid....BUT Poch has brought a spurs mentality to this club. We accept mediocrity. These owners need to seriously act fast to change the direction of the club. Otherwise we will continue to drop further away from the top teams in the premier league. Agree with all your points, Younis. Tough love and brutally honest. Palmer is a rising star & Silva, is a star that still shines for his age. Palmer should sign with a winning team; he now has expience and shown he has tremendous potential.

Honestly I agree with you on most of these but I honestly see the biggest problem as enzo and caicedo we never control the midfield in any matches.
Hire the BEST Sporting Director on the planet (overpay ridiculously), give that individual complete autonomy to rebuild the entire organization from the ground up. Don’t talk about players or managers, start with talent running the program. Give the SD 3 years to develop.
