I'm glad I found this review, star allies is my favorite kirby game and it is wildly misunderstood! There is so much content and love put into this game. It still blows my mind how much they ended up putting in the game! With star allies being the ending of a long long series of kirby, it's the ultimate 2d kirby send off. Play as any of the special dream friends from any game that is special to you! Embark on the biggest journey kirby and co ever take on! People don't realize how much this is like the infinity war for kirby! The music from this game is SS tier! And the fact that they do an entire suite for the final boss song is truly mind blowing! I will always defend star allies it's so much better than what people give it credit for!
@Laurie Barton it's not a send off to 2d, but it's a send off to the saga. Even the developers made it to be essentially a last hurrah for this Era of kirby
Even though I was a little looped warm from Star Allies, I actually had a fun time with it because they brought back a lot of characters from across the series.

I personally just love star Allies because it introduces great new characters (so does forgotten land) but is the only Kirby game that allows me to have Kirby, Marx, Magolor, and Meta Knight all on the same team!
Love your review! I saw a really awesome 1+ hour long video essay about it last year, which made me wanna get it, so I eventually did and I love it! I’m getting very close to finishing all the pictures and after I do that I’m gonna finish Heroes in another dimension cuz that mode is tough! Great review, great video 👏👏👏 I’ve been a Kirb fan since I was little and I’m more of a fan now than I was during childhood 😂 Love that lil pink boi

I’ve never played this game but from what I’ve seen, the villain from squeak squad is playable so it can’t be the worst in the series
Star Allies is the first and only Kirby game I've played and I love it.
Well it's the first game I played but I played Kirby and forgotten land and kirby's return to dream land deluxe it's still a good game though
