So that means it's a better car? i doubt the Tesla is as sharp as the M5 CS is. The quality of the interiors is also crap compared to an M5. I am not a Tesla hater. Technology wise, acceleration wise, an electric car is always gonna win. But a car is more than just acceleration. you will understand that when you grow up and are able to drive one day.

I had the speed limiter removed in my E39 (2000 MY) M5 and it topped out at 183 mph, and it only had 400 hp; I'm sure the M5 CS tops out over 200 mph! Cheers and greetings from Texas!
@@nuky_999 an RS6 doesn’t come even kind of close to this M5 in driving dynamics and handling. In fact after driving an RS6, I honestly feel likes its mostly hype. Its handling and driving dynamics are actually pretty lackluster. A Mercedes E63 or Porsche Panamera wagon are much better wagons.

Yes M5 is a sportier car to drive but when it comes to comfort RS6 is much better - better sound isolation, much better suspension and it's still sporty enough. You are going to drive these car in comfort mode 80% of the time and that's where RS6 excels, and not to mention it's the best looking

I am nearly 50 years old, and remember when any hot-hatch under 10 secs to 60mph was labelled “fast”. I didn’t think we’d ever see 0-60 in under 3 secs, never mind a family saloon car
Truly an incredible car and I have to agree with you, I'd much rather drive this than an EV, it's got soul, character and it's so much fun to drive. Hopefully synthetic fuels/hybridisation will help keep these magnificent cars around for a while longer.

Crazy that 4000lb is actually light for sedan these days. Credit to BMW for making it lighter though. That launch at 12:12 is absolutely insane. It looks sped up but I know it's not.

Oh my goodness. What a machine. I'd say its worth the £140k and will hold its value like crazy, particularly being the last and best ICE M5..... Wow that 2.75 sec time 0-60 was even on a bumpy road with slight incline?? Imagine what it would do on a hot sticky level racetrack?!?
I always regarded the C6 RS6 as the greatest Super Sedan ever, but this is a contender. 2.75 to 60 is hyper car quick, in a 5 series ! Idk what black magic the guys from the M division used to achieve these numbers but it sure is astonishing. The Bavarian boys did it again, the M5 Competition was crazy enough but this is insane. I still wouldn't splash all that extra money for the CS but I completely understand if some die hard BMW fans would for the exclusivity, performance and bragging rights that come with it. I'm sad about the fact that the auto industry is moving away from internal combustion engined cars, everything we know, cherish and love is slowly disappearing in front of our eyes.

0-100kph in 2.75 has to roughly equate to a 0-60mph in about 2.6. Phenomenal

I got this last year n upgrade the outer panels skin with full carbon fibre by speedkore .... now it only weighs 1654kg ....
