    My Kindle would look sweet on that bookshelf! ;) That thing is a beast dude. Great work.

      +Crafted Workshop I would intentionally put it 8ft up just to use the ladder like a librarian.

    Probably the best "floating shelves" video I've seen. Thank you for using tools the rest of us can also use, instead of tools and setups that cost thousands of dollars. 4:31

    That came out great! And it looks killer with that ladder. Really glad you're still stitching your footage into builds, eases the pressure of trying to catch every vlog.

      @John_Malecki  7 лет назад +1

      Im actually going to be announcing a pull back from the VLOG unfortunately. YT is crushing them and my numbers are way down. Gotta give the platform what it wants. aka build videos

      @YouCanMakeThisToo 7 лет назад +1

      That sucks, I understand though. It was a good experiment though, thanks for trying! I just found Alex Steele about two months ago and thought it might be a great format for someone kind of in your position. Guess we were wrong. I enjoyed it while you did it.

      I agree, except the views arent there and the sharability. So I have to probably wait till my channel grows in order to hit that sort of style

    Outstanding work, that is mesmerisingly good. I'm looking at doing a similar height bookshelf in Malaysia with a rolling ladder. Can you share the details of the ladder company please? Thank you so much.

    Hoping to launch myself into a bit of DIY furniture work in the near future - focused on building my resources and general "toolbox" at the moment. I just found this channel today via r/artisanvideos and you have content for builds that are stylistically spot-on with what I'm hoping to accomplish one day. The pacing, editing and narration are perfect - feels like I found a gold mine. Cheers!

    Hey John. Great work and video. I'm looking for pretty much the exact (12.5ft) bookshelf with the ladder. How much would something like this cost me to have someone build and install (including ladder)? Would really appreciate even a range so I have an idea. Thanks a bunch!!!

  • @cos810
    @cos810 6 лет назад +1

    John, at the end I could see You did not cover the screws You used for the joint, and I could see the gap between the panels and the wood for covering the side ofrecimiento them (front). Did You fix it later?? Was it non important because books will cover it?? I am a huge fan, and I was thinking there is got to be an explanation. Sorry for my english, i speak spanish.

    • @John_Malecki
      @John_Malecki  6 лет назад

      The look of the piece is supposed to be more "rustic" so we left the screwheads exposed to match the hardware on the ladder
