At this point in time, it doesn't have that capacity. It's possible that it would support a payment software but no official rollouts yet for software updates to include a feature. but yeah, I'd agree if it does have the capacity to do so.
It would be nice when scrolling through the menu, some data of the functionality available can be showed. For instance, the sleeptracking available data and how much of the tracking is stored on the watch. Thanks.
Hi! Im planning to get my boyfriend a smartwatch and im conflicted on whether to get him samsung galaxy active 2 or this xiaomi global watch since he currently uses a xiaomi mi 10t pro. I assumed the latter would work more smoothly with his phone but i like the former bc i beLieve it has more features. the thing is, in terms of functionality and longevity, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is miles ahead of the Mi Watch. Although me personally is still using the Mi Watch, there are certain functions that may not be applicable but is really dependent on the user and what he needs a smartwatch for. I normally use it for usual watch stuff, with the occassional notifications, and that's it, so it makes sense for me, others do use a smartwatch extensively with every feature, so it really depends on your boyfriend 😊

Hi Annelle, Actually, if you use the Mi Watch as just a watch, it lasts 16 days. If it's connected to your smartwatch via BlueTooth, since the heart rate sensor is constantly checking, as well as your stress monitors, it consumes more battery. As for the shower thing, yes, I rarely take it off actually so even if i'm just washing my hands or taking a shower, it's totally fine. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

I honestly can't quantify how strong the vibration is, but I am sure when it vibrates for notifications, you'd really feel it. Not sure about the "standard" and "enhanced" though, I haven't actually seen such a model.

to be honest, not so much. Because of the rounded corners and considering the size of it, if you're the type who likes wearing it tightly on your wrist, it can give you quite the discomfort. You can of course get used to it, but if not, you can wear it a bit loose but of course, the sleep tracker can give you inaccurate data. 😊
no export to other services like strava for ex, no possibility to disable auto pause, no LAP, no possibility to record/load GPX/v.long charging time/no option to create custom activity/ 80% of activities are just copy and paste with different names//no PAI/doesn't naps during the day/no screen lock. Otherwise good device
it's not the perfect smartwatch that's for sure, and I don't think it was designed to be that complexed, but it does get the job done for the most part. 🙂

They need to fix their software, as right now it's not worth 3x price of mi band just for that gorgeous screen and almost useless GPS.
I totally get your point, but considering that they have a new product which also comes with a new app as opposed to the mi band, the only progress it has it to move forward with future updates. Not everyone who buys a smartwatch is after the features you mentioned. Some just wants a device that extends the core essentials of a smartphone. True the Mi Band can do the majority, but it is technically still a new product, no product is perfect at launch 🙂.
Hey Mark, good question. The thing is, smartwatches (at least the modern-day ones) need to have WearOS like the one found on the OPPO brand. This does have the capacity to answer calls, but the actual conversation happens on the smartphone. It's really more of the notification that someone is calling rather than being able to actually talk like a secret agent. and no it does have speakers. it's really more of an upgrade to the mi band 5 like a fitness tracker but with a bigger face and functionality, but is not yet close to that of an Apple watch that can do so much. hope this helps 😀

about 14-16 days on a single charge, if used as a watch lang. but if the BT is turned on and is connected to your smartphone, an average of just 5-7 days on a single charge, sometimes less aggressive kasi yung real time features niya in providing data.
As far as I remember, it does have that type of watch face, but if you're looking for a feature that works just like the Apple Activity rings, I'm not 100% sure since there was really limited options for me to fully test the watch for certain activities as this review was published in lockdown situations.
Any activity you do on your watch will be automatically be synced to your app once the watch gets in range with your smartphone. GPS accuracy is a bit of a challenge to test because of the current global situations, not free to go around at the time of this review. 🙂
My main problem is the Mi Wear APP doesn't sync with Mi Body Composition Scale 2 and doesn't sync with Mi shoes. Is a fitness watch, but doesn't combine your workouts with your body measurements and body analysis/statistics???!!! WTF?!?!?!?😡😡 We don't care if the manufacturer isn't Huami, all products have Mi Logo. They don't have Huami Logo. If you have Mi Logo they must combine together and works in the ecosystem. If you work night shifts like I do, the watch can't record sleep. Sleep tracking works only from 9:00PM to 9:00AM. Daytime sleep, dozing and naps cannot be tracked. Extended nighttime sleep refers to a period of continuous sleep at night, lasting more than two hours after falling asleep!!! WTF???!!! GIVE US 24/7 ACCURATE SLEEP TRACKING! 😡😡🤬🤬 We don't like Alexa, we prefer Google assistant!!!😡 MiWear doesn't sync with nothing from third apps, not even Google Fit. And for God sake, why only f-word Samsung has a note of how much water/coffee you have drunk???!!!😡😡 Why only f...samsung have not only how much calories I burn with my steps or workout, but how many I have burn from metabolism!!! Which means, it can still acquire software updates which can potentially make it more compatible with current products. I totally get any frustration you may have with the product, but if you do have any complaints, I suggest for you to send feedback on a Xiaomi Forum. I'm sure the guys at Xiaomi would love to hear thoughts as it can greatly help them improve their products and services. 😊 And yes, I do work the graveyard shift too, which makes the sleep tracker a bit strange but, with it's defense, so long as the device is connected via BT with my smartphone, the numbers I'm getting is pretty close to what I'd expect as good numbers. hey man, just to be fair, I've never used the Amazfit T Rex, but to put things into perspective. The Amazfit T Rex was released sometime last year. Considering the Mi watch is new, like smartphones, the software support is going to be much longer as opposed to the T Rex. if the Amazfit T Rex performs just like any other smartwatch, the only real deal-breaker is the design and the UI which is ultimately going to fall on your preference since the Mi watch is more of a minimalist while the T rex is more rugged. hopefully, this helps 😊. on a side note, I've been using the mi watch from that day that I've released the video, and it's been great so far.
it's pretty accurate 🙂. I'd probably say around 90-95% better than the Mi Band 5. Although I can't compare this to other smartwatches in the market as I've personally have not tested any like the RealMe smartwatch for example, but for the most part it gets the job done 🙂
As far as I know this doesn't support Strava, not 100% sure though haven't used this in a while but during my time of testing and a few months after uploading this video, Strava wasn't supported.
Honestly, I'd go for whatever is the more current. Smartwatches don't usually last long and can get easily replaced, so best to go with the most current release over just branding.

🤣 yeah, it really depends on the user. Some prefer the big faced watches while others prefer the mini screen displays like the Mi Band series from Xiaomi 😉

well the device doesn't exactly have any means for you to install audio files, but you do have the option to use Spotify which is linked to your smartphone. 😊

🤣 yeah, it really depends on the user. Some prefer the big faced watches while others prefer the mini screen displays like the Mi Band series from Xiaomi 😉

Personally I'd go for the Mi Watch simply because of the bigger screen, but for everything else, I'd choose the Mi Band 6

@@andreiii00 due to the lockdowns, I am unable to do so at least for the workout stuff, but for everything else, works just fine 😊
Is this watch the Imb Lab KW66? I can't seem to find it to buy in the us
i'm not 100% sure 😅. All I know is, Xiaomi has a ton of sub brands that is licensed and can potentially be sold as a totally new brand in other regions 😊.

@@arvinlazarte5886 that I'm not sure, there are a ton of Xiaomi products that are being released in China that doesn't even make it to the Global market let alone in the Philippines so there's no guarantee it would even hit Philippine soil, hopefully in the coming months.
