This particular Ti Lusso doesn't have shift paddles because it doesn't have the optional (Only available on Tis.) "Q2" Performance Package [a driver-adjustable adaptive suspension, a limited slip differential (LSD), and the, afore mentioned, shift paddles]. Otherwise, only a standard Giulia with the Sport Package Option or a Giulia Ti Sport get the shift paddles as standard kit.
TI Sport has sunroof, bigger and nicer wheels , aluminum paddle, Harman Kardon Sound system Lusso has only nicer color inside I would chose the TI Sport anyway
I have picked a Lusso before and I would again if I had to choose between the two. The leather on the dashboard and the lusso-seats are a must have for me. That said, both were sold over here as a Super and you could build it up with packages the way you wanted it. So I ended up with a Lusso-styled model, and you could even make it a TI (Veloce) styled model on the outside. Best of both worlds.
@@GITSSACThat wasn't possible here when I bought my Giulia Super. You'd had to stick with the €10000 more expensive AWD 280bhp Veloce if you wanted that. Specs are different for almost each country in which they sell the Giulia. They changed that, now you can get the more or less same (same as in same price as the Lusso) priced Sprint to get that leather dash. As an option. My wife hates the sports seats though, she thinks they are really uncomfortable.
I have a 2019 TI Sport and love the seats. Not sure what Ron is talking about, but to each their own. This is a sport sedan first and foremost, so I'll always choose the Sport over the Luxury line.
I have the blacked-out TI in Verde Visconti BUT my market didn't have it in the tan interior which is what I really wanted. I'm in a charcoal interior which I like, and was ready to give up the red interior on my 2018 TI Guilia, but this video makes me sad that I didn't hold out. However, I am even more satisfied with my purchase after seeing this. The Lusso is SHARP, don't get me wrong, but I love my car, which I've named Ozzy (Wizard of Oz, my gal is Visconti green, you get the picture). The paddle shifters and Harman stereo could not be sacrificed. The only thing that could be better is that my service is 61 miles away from my house, and I'm less than a mile from downtown Dallas. It's crazy that I cannot find a service dealership closer given my proximity to downtown Dallas. Love you Ron's Rides! Keep up the honest and wonderful vids
Love both but you can order the Lusso with the Sport package incl/paddles, Q4 and all the electronics which is they way I would go. I really love the crema/light walnut combo...very elegant
Ezra Figueroa I agree...if you order the Lusso the Sport upgrade package is ESSENTIAL...you get paddle shifters and limited-slip! You must tick this option!!
@@gkstanfield i already have the Stelvio Quad Rosso Tri Competizione but heavily considering a Giulia Lusso Visconti Verdi loaded with the crema/crema/light walnut and all the goodies. I believe it will become a classic.
Ron, I wanted to let all your Alfa Giulia owners know something important (well to me anyway).....Alfa HQ in Michigan apparently finally listened to me. They now sell OEM Giulia and Stelvio floor mats with the LOGO on them. Both in red letters and in silver letters. I just bought my Red lettered GIULIA logo floor mats from my local dealer. Or you can go to an official MOPAR site online to order a set. They are very cool. The logo's are stitched into the sides of the front pair. Very classy. Reasonable, around $100
I love the Lusso! Only thing is with that light cream interior I would be totally scared to get dirt on it! Light coloured leather and carpet stains really easily! I think for the price though I would take the Lusso, but maybe with the optional 5-hole wheels.
Love the crema interior on the Lusso. Really stunning with the walnut trim and leather pack. My only gripe is that they should have made the carpets black.
I did wonder about that, those cream carpets will mark really easily! Probably not the most practical choice. Though I guess you could probably get some fitted mats in black from the dealer.
Hey Ron. Did you know the name in the color "Verde Visconti" refers to the Italian (Milan) knight Visconti, who, during the crusaders period, beat his biggest opponent from Syria and took home the heraldic from his opponent? The heraldic of this guy was the serpent, which is part of the emblem of Alfa Romeo (the red cross represents Milan)...
Mark A. Good research...you are correct! The whole mystique behind the Alfa Biscione graphic fascinates me... The Serpent has also looked different in different eras...which is another conversation!
TI Sport of course! Those wheels with yellow calipers would be more than enough to make huge difference. But the color is great anyway. Not as great as 8C Rosso or Misano blue, but fantastic for sure:-)
Worth the extra money to me haha 😄. Although I can glodd wrap all the chrome on Lusso for cheaper and powder coat the rims. Those Lusso Rims in Gloss black would do it. Also like the diffuser on the Sport better 😎
If it’s a giulia I have to go ti sport, I had a Stelvio ti lusso as a loaner in this exact color with the crema interior and loved it. This is easily among my top 3 favorite alfa colors, but nothing beats rosso competizione for me.
People listen, he said sport seats is comfortable but after 3 hours of driving it gets stiffer which is most likely true. Specially if its a sports sedan it would be more fun to drive but wouldnt be as comfortable on long drives. Its like bimmer is much more fun to druve than audis, but audi is more comforrable
Get rid of the endizione package on the sport. Save a few bucks and still get the Harmon Kardon stereo with sunroof and better interior color in my opinion. I like the wheels and colored calipers as well.
Sport but get rid of the sunroof, Nero package and Harmon Kardon. Now you have all the good stuff for enjoying the ride for about the same as the Lusso.
Which other car in the segment from which brand gives it such a difference in the character due to the spec you finally choose - both are marvelous. Not to choose both at the same time will give you worries and doubts for years🤔😁. Double ❤️❤️

@@drivewithanam In the Netherlands, it's taxed to hell because it's inefficient and has high emissions. Also, petrol is about $6.5 per gallon over here. So yea, getting my Giulia will be a big investment but it seems worth it to me!
Is there a tax in Europe (built in to the price of the car) for engines over a certain size? I know in Japan the k-cars (engine 660cc or less) are taxed much lower than the "big boys"!
@@glennlindamood There is, it's called BPM in the Netherlands. So for the Giulia QV you have to pay €33k in extra emission taxes.
