His shield was the first thing I tried when this fight came out. I thought maybe it wasnt going to work the same way it doesnt work with Bahamuts laser and Vulkans lava. Lancelot would also be a good character against him.
This is actually a fight where using AI is very reasonable as the AIs are really great at staying alive. Vane is bad as an AI cause you wouldn’t know when he’ll bubble I think a good substitute for him would be Katalina with teamwide Invincibility or Yodarha with his teamwide Mirror Image, though they have much more limited time and hits they can theoretically get a faster clear
Yodarha AI often buff mirror image without full stack and so does katalina AI. If u really want survivability, pick MC with his Phalanx which is much more reliable than those two. Siegfried also has 70% def party wide
I am still shocked that the AI in this game is actually good Most games the AI is either down right stupid and bad but this game they are good, They dodge, block, cooperate with you, when there is a global wipe they actually move to safety or barrier... HELL I died 2-3 times because of environmental damage and the AI was alive and safe Makes me fell like a meathead specially if I am maining Vane
@@naser5545 thanks bro. I tried several times with Vane but all failed. Haven't tried Persival yet but that's bad if Percival's was patched as well. I used this tech quite a lot before
@buuzuko5496 I'm pretty confident they were. The patch notes confirm this for vane, Percival, cag, and maybe 1 other or a few others. It does kind of suck, but they were never meant to be played like that.
@@naser5545you are correct that the dodge tech from _abilities_ were removed, but the dodge tech used here uses normal/heavy attacks. Ryot69420 above has the right rotation - two light attacks, the first heavy, immediately dodge into immediate heavy and you get what you see on the video. There's a lot of lost damage in the second heavy into the spin heavy attack, which is why Vane mains use it. Extremely good with his personal sigil that allows for increased cooldown reduction speed per hit since the final hit of that combo is a multi hit.
Characters like Lancelot and Yodarha are very useful in this battle with Lancelot's reflection while you spam triangle you will be gaining invulnerability, Yodarha being able to share his reflection with the team It makes it excellent even better if you have a good build. I finished the mission with Lancelot, Io, Eugene and Zeta. It is my team that I use for everything.

when i met chinese people use cheater i sit and watch him attack lucillius with Eugen Snipe mode he dealt 9,999,999 dmg to lucillius die in 10s World cheater record and rip Lucillius poor boss same Proto Bahamut ( Die in Cutscene ) and normal day in sea region 😆
Vane is largely unneeded for A.I when you have a closeish build to meta. The A.I survive so well in this fight that they are better than 99.99% of online players running this fight. It's better to grab someone with high DPS. Now for Online, Vane is crazy good.
It's crazy on vane and even many others. It gives flat damage reduction just for itself and add on steel nerves + other teammates damage reductions + his personal sigil damage reduction and his other self preservation skills and hes straight unga bunga all day with ease
I have managed to get 100%dmg cut with Vane using stout heart + steel nerves + his personal sigil + Rosetta’s dmg cut skill. It’s pretty insane, you can just tank damage and deal damage without constant dodging and guarding.
Nope, sadly. We can only get the real exclusive ones from curios that already have a low drop rate. The ones you see back to back normally like DMG Cap etc., drops from Transmarvel

Damn the shield is perfect for this fight. I never really played Vane but damn. It holds just long enaugh for the important parts.
2 vanes makes this fight feel relatively easy. timing the bubbles avoid basically any major attacks with ease.
It's tailor made for situations like these.

2X Vane in this fight is so broken. Of course that’s with other people Had a 2X Vane, Yoda and Sig party last night. Fight was a joke.

I'm pretty sure that was patched with this release. Vane and Percival can no longer dodge cancel abilities to proc their combo effect.

That's not from Vane. That's from Rosetta or Charlotta. Both of them have skills that give damage cut to party.
