I feel like what they should do for the item shops to separate things out is do what they did in the Llama shop in STW where it's separate tabs. In STW theres the normal Llamas, the event Llamas, and then the other stuff, all separated into different tabs.
I feel like that might make the top part of the UI a bit clutter since there’s already so much. I honestly think they could have a button within the shop tab that lets you switch which shop you wanna see between BR, LEGO, and Festival. That or they can do the thing they do with the festival passes where it only appears when the mode is selected (though honestly I think the button would be more convenient)
@plantyt3246 I feel like they could have 5 tabs. One for BR & Creative, one for Festival, one for Lego, one for Rocket Racing, and one for featured and/or new items.

This is what i think they should do,
Keep one tab of jam tracks, specifically showcasing the new ones and filler if it wont fit the entire page, then have this bar.
Add the instrument difficulties on this menu, push up the artwork and name to give room to that.
It should also be accessible elsewhere, maybe ingame of festival mainstage?

They add things we don’t want and get rid of things we do. For instance, getting rid of the rarities and backgrounds on the items, then adding overpriced items like the cars.
now that they made that jam track change they don’t really need to keep the other 2 pages of the jam tracks and just have one page with the view more button to save much more space for other stuff
Well the new rocket racing pack comes tomorrow or the next day but I can’t for the new timer next month. It probably releases when season 3 starts
Just have a single row showing the new and featured jam tracks and the show more button for everything else

If they took the effort to make an upgrade with the Jam Track section they should do the same for other cosmetics as far as emotes. Advertise deals with bundles/Collabs with a drop box full of emotes

Rarities being gone is a good thing. We had rare skins coming out just as often as uncommon and vice versa and some "rare" skins that are WAY more rare than other rare skins. For me it was the label "Rare" that was most annoying

Do that for every mode!!! Except instead of including each and every skin with legos, just put the entire LEGO section inside of a [VIEW LEGOS] box or a [VIEW ROCKET RACING] box. After everything that’s gone wrong, fortnite has a chance to cook with this.

Can you tell me what the rarity actually does? From what I’m seeing it’s just a way to price things (I guess) but I found it odd that the last thing in the battle pass isn’t legendary. Isn’t that supposed to be the hardest to get so it should be legendary right?

The Werewolf bundle was available for free to those who unlocked it in Rocket League during 2016-17, and many players, including myself, received it at no cost.
Since Fortnite said late May that we'll be able to see when a skin and I think other items leave the shop we most likely get the change with ch5 s3's launch as I'm pretty sure May 24th is late May

My little brother just started playing Fortnite last week and I’ve been hoping the three strikes bundle would come back so I could get it for him and it’s finally back!!! (He loves baseball) He also really wants the griddy and it recently got a Lego version so i know he’ll be happy when we get to play together again and he sees all that in his locker

They need to do that with every skin and just let us skim through it so we can pick what we want. I would literally drop hundreds of dollars to buy the skin i really want but never come back
I didn’t really understand the rarity system anyway. I think it’s easy to tell the difference between an 800 v-buck skin and a 2000 v-buck skin. I’ll buy a skin if I like it and think it’s worth the price, not because it’s labelled as rare.

This idea is just a theory and there's no solid evidence. If you've been following the Fortnite shop for a while, you might have noticed that it used to offer a wide variety of skins and items. However, since the Lego mode came out, the shop has been rotating about 30% of it's inventory. So it's very probable to suspect that these shops are not bringing in as much cash flow as previous chapters. Lego most likely gets commission on every skin that has a lego variance. I suspect that Epic is strategically manipulating the shop to influence sales, possibly as part of a renegotiation with Lego to lower their commissions. Now it's true that this carries risk, particularly in terms of player satisfaction and potential long term brand damage (Also would damage business relationships if true). Epic would likely have calculated that the short term loss in shop diversity and appeal could be offset by the long term financial benefits of a more favorable contract with Lego. Again just theoretical, it's just my theory to make sense of a situation that on the surface seems to disregard the community and business sense.

Ok i actually like the new change to the music tracks. It's going to be so much easier to scroll through the new tracks and buy what you want now. But the rarity thing has to be talked about..
I'm honestly just suggesting that all of us, as a community need to stop purchasing everything new as a whole (especially if it's ridiculously overpriced) unless you are absolutely 100% SURE you want that new cosmetic. Don't get me wrong, I get the whole impulse purchase thing cause I do it too, just purchasing the new thing cause omg new cosmetic, but this has got to be boycotted in some kind of way. The removal of rarities is just so dirty and so wrong, because it's like everyone's saying, why change something that wasn't a problem in the first place? It just screams needless corporate change that didn't need to be changed. I'm not saying boycott new cosmetics entirely, because even I probably wouldn't be able to do that, but if you have ANY doubt whatsoever that the cosmetic isn't worth it, please by all means don't purchase it. If the writer's strike of 2023 is anything to go by, it says that if enough people organize together to boycott something, the media/store/corporation/anything else that can be boycotted HAS to give up on what they are trying to do, because surprise surprise, they need money to keep going. Especially with inflation on the rise across the world, this kind of unnecessary change is just wrong and disgusting in my opinion. Together, we can bring change.
