Very cozy! Looks like a great space for creativity. With regard to the whole extension cord thing, you might want to consider getting a power station like a Jackery 240 or 500. This could be charged in the house and brought out to the studio to use as a power source. It eliminates the dreaded extension cord, and, as an added bonus, gives you a back up power supply for the house if/when the power goes out.
This is inspiring! I'm thinking of transforming a garage for the same purpose, and this has given me some ideas. Your shed reminds me a little of Roald Dahl's famous writing hut, but yours is much tidier!
Okay, its been roughly 3 years now so how has this shed held up and what if anything would you have changed about what you have done with it? I've been looking at this shed for longer then I would like to admit but just not sure it will meet my needs as a studio apartment for living. And no need to comment on any of the legal stuff I've done all that research already.
We're looking at doing something similar and I've built a quote for a TuffShed the same size as the one you had installed. What were the finishing costs for insulation, drywall, and siding?
We bought a similar Tuff Shed except our entrance has double front doors. The problem is we can hardly open and close the doors. The shed is great except for that. The doors really suck!!
I don't get it. You obviously weren't worried about the whole cost factor because the shed looks really nice inside out. So why in the world didn't you spend a little extra by getting the proper permit(s) along with getting proper electrical service over using the ghetto extension thing? I just recently bought an 11 x 20 shed in my back yard and I think my permit might have totaled like $75 or so.
Depends on the state. I looked it up if I wanted to do the same thing in SoCal, even though I'm rural, it would cost me around $1000 - $1500 for the permits.
This is fantastic. Thank you for sharing the inside tour. I want to build something very similar.

Your shed looks great. Nice work
How much was the shed with installation from Tuff Shed?
I would like to live in something as this...
REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE IN THIS WORLD TO MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY!!!! YOU BUILT A QUIET, NICE PLACE FOR YOUR PLEASURE!!!!
❤️
Is the ceiling ventilated? It should be to prevent the possibility of moisture leading to mold.

Don't you love going to the government to get permission to do what you want on your own property?
MotionGaming Precisely :/
$1K for a shed permit??? Good God! That's like 20% of the cost of my shed. lol PinchTune
@@StoneShipman , Screw the government. Do what you want and skip asking permission.
States Rights.
If I were u I would duct tape off that hole for the cord to keep bugs out
