"The first time I tried Elixir Strings was during the recording of James LaBrie "Elements of Persuasion" record. I've done all the acoustic guitars with one set and everyone in the studio was impressed. Fast forward to 2017 I put a set of strings on one of my electric guitars and it lasted one year, and I sweat a lot! Can't be more satisfied, I can finally think less and play more. How is it possible that Marco isn't on the Steve Vai Generation Axe line-up? He is by far one of the most underrated players around.

Instead of sounding like bunch shreddy licks improvised and thrown into the song (many guitarists did), marco's lead actually sounds like carefully and musically composed 👍

Who knows... Martin has already invited Kiko Loureiro, so is not impossible.

@@MrLeoMalmsteen I've listened to both albums, probably 100 times at least for Universo Inverso. Don't get me wrong: Kiko is a great guitarist. But he's one generation removed from Martin. That's not a slight on Kiko anymore than saying that Jimi was one generation removed from SRV
