She's magnificent! That salute was awesome. 😏 God bless those who put out to sea! I keep you all in my prayers, and wish you calm seas and good fortune 🌹⚓
No No No….she is a Lakes Freighter only 1000 feet, not designed for open Atlantic Sea’s. Many people confuse a Lake Ship vs an Ocean Certificate Cargo Vessel. She will spend her entire service in the Great Lakes and namely Lake Superior.
@@PeteDavidson-yl3ps When I say "put out to sea" I'm thinking of all ships and boats, on all the waters. Just an old expression. Have a lovely evening 🌹
@@PeteDavidson-yl3psnot to bright are you? Nothing was said about the open ocean till you white knighting butt showed up. Try working on your reading comprehension.
What a fantastic sight and sound. I'd love to be there to experience it all in person. I'd imagine you don't just hear the horn sounds, but feel them resonate through you at the same time.
Isso me traz a memória da construção naval no Brasil , da qual tive o privilégio de participar quando trabalhei no estaleiros carioca na função de encanador.
I miss the sights and sounds of the harbour. Having grown up in the 60s & 70s in Thunder Bay the harbour traffic was something else. The sky is awesome too.
She's a beautiful lady! How exciting to be that close! Thanx for sharing 🙂
Awesome sight. Takes your breath away.

Yes. I've lived within 10 miles of the Atlantic Ocean my whole life. Duluth isn't on the ocean, but it's on my bucket list.
Love these big ocean liners. Beautiful to watch. They’re as easy to maneuver, in the hands
of a skilled Captain, as an eighteen wheel semi
Trailer in the hands of a skilled driver.
Lake Freighter not an ocean liner.
