I like that Matt always puts a lot of effort into his interviews and is a generous guest. He joined in with that morning radio energy too. And yes, he made me want to watch the film (and I already wanted to anyway). My top celebrity crush.
Matt Damon is such a wonderful down to earth guy, I love how he is consistent, kind and generous as a human being first and foremost and on top of that a great actor too. ❤
Matt is just professional. He is a great actor. He supports his fellow actors. He does all these promos without seemingly complaining at all. I always enjoying watching everything he does. Now I will have to re-watch Field of Dreams!
He is great. Watched him in an interview on the Graham Norton show available on You Tube. He was with the great Bill Murray and the Earl of Downton, Hugh Bonneville, publicising Monument Men. It was hilarious and Matt said it was the most fun he had had on Talk Show.
Psyched to see Oppenheimer - I've watched so many cast member interviews in the past few weeks and everyone universally gushes about it. I've long known the history and backstory of Los Alamos and the bomb development - but not much about the personal aspect of Oppenheimer. Stellar cast with several of my all-time favorite actors.
I can relate to the last who turns up to set gets a around of applause. When we had sales events, we would have a debrief the next morning and whoever was late would get a round of applause and have to sit on the ‘naughty’ chair on stage
When you still think of someone as a young actor..and then they remind you that they were in movies (that wasn't even their first movie) 25 years ago..
Matt is fantastic...his daughters should love all his movies because they have given them a very privileged life to which they probably wont have to work their way thru college and certainly didnt have to get a part time job at Burger King during high school....
I can relate. My mom hates that I want to be an actor because I have Cerebral Palsy. I want to book work for Pepsi commercials and supporting roles in family movies like Toy Story, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie to make amends.
There's one mistake a lot of people have mentioned about the movie the scene where it's set in 1945 people waving the US flag but the flag wasn't established until 1959
In 1945, the US flag had 48 stars, arranged in 6 rows of 8 stars each. I haven't seen the film yet, but it is extremely unlikely that they got a detail like that wrong. Follow-up: I saw a hi-res version of the trailer online, and can confirm that in the scene where Oppenheimer holds up his hat in celebration, the flag flying behind him is the 8x6, 48-star version.
Thank you Capital FM for sharing! But did you know that nuclear power was invented earlier? Long time ago there was another planet in our solar system between Mars and Jupiter on which (giant) humans lived. They too invented nuclear power, but in a war they misused that nuclear power and the planet was destroyed. Only the four moons of that planet survived the destruction. The asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter is the visible remaining part of that destruction. The name of that planet was Mallona, Mallona means 'broken planet'. To the old Greeks Mallona was known as Phaeton. In the books of Jakob Lorber and Leopold Engel you can find more information about that.
Wow, that was really considerate of them to send a message to Earth telling us what their planet name was just before they completely blew up. Just out of curiosity, what brand of tin foil do you use for your hat?
Well, I can understand why you would think it’s boring. It doesn’t have action scenes or fancy superheroes in costumes. It is a drama detailing the life of Oppenheimer, the father of the atomic bomb. It’s more intellectual and heavy. You can think that’s boring but it’s definitely not trash. Many people love the movie.

great point! he made this entire thing so infectious and fun

Sooooooo….. he’s the exactly opposite of what Jimmy Kimmel fear monger about?
He’s never seemed like he was all about the Hollywood lifestyle. He just seems like a kind, normal dude who just so happens to be famous.
He is great. Watched him in an interview on the Graham Norton show available on You Tube. He was with the great Bill Murray and the Earl of Downton, Hugh Bonneville, publicising Monument Men. It was hilarious and Matt said it was the most fun he had had on Talk Show.
just love his positive energy - very humble and gregarious

nicely executed interview - loved it.
3:21 Matt a great man, writer, actor .... Best regards ❤️
AIr was outstanding. Got a few weeks to wait until i See Oppenheimer though. 70mm @ The Printworks. Hope the print doesnt get damaged.
So beautiful to see (especially in these cray dark hollywood daze) to vibe this true positively on the REAL!
Excellent interview!!

I like this interview
Matt's daughter trashing The Great Wall 😂
I’m amazed they had time to do all of these interviews before the strike. Every day there is a new one 😊
Well I hope it was before the strike at least
@@battmarn This would have been the day before the Strikes started, if Paris Premier being "last night" was mentioned.
Love this as well.🎇🎇🎇🎇
His daughter is funny😂 I hope that when she comes around to watching the rest of his movies that she is thoroughly entertained. Matt has classics!
She is savage. 😂
Great interview
MATT TALKING ABOUT HEATHY😭❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Great Wall is a terrific movie, I own it and watch it at least four times a year.
Feel the same here! I liked it as well, don't know why it wasn't received well
His eyes are bluer than I thought
I want ONE more Bourne film with AFFLECK as the opposing assasin
or Jimmy Kimmel tho that might be too silly.
In love with Emily and her husband ❤
Matt Damon is the best!!!
I can relate. My mom hates that I want to be an actor because I have Cerebral Palsy. I want to book work for Pepsi commercials and supporting roles in family movies like Toy Story, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie to make amends.
An excellent movie saw it today 😊
Clooney likes to pull a pranks so he has to get there early to control the situation.
His hair plugs look great
You sure they’re hair plugs?
@@jordansantos7226 he’s def. Had at least 1 or 2 transplants
@@BudFuddlacker I can’t decide if they do wonders for people or not cause I don’t know anyone in my life who’s had one
@@jordansantos7226 I’ve known several people, and remember, these actors have access to the greatest and latest techniques at any cost.
"I love that" was said far too often in this video.
MYATT DAYMIN.
They didn’t even discuss the movie 😂.

The Great Wall is entertaining tho ... 😅
The only film i like him in is team America
Mr ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
These questions are so dumb. Why have such a serious actor and serious movie and then ask such silly questions s.
There's one mistake a lot of people have mentioned about the movie the scene where it's set in 1945 people waving the US flag but the flag wasn't established until 1959
Ahhh they have the flag yo but it only has 2 lesser star I think. I think they add 2 more star after that cause they add Hawaii and i think Alaska.
Um no bud no. Just no. Need I remind you of that famous photo in 45 of the soldiers and the American flag.
In 1945, the US flag had 48 stars, arranged in 6 rows of 8 stars each. I haven't seen the film yet, but it is extremely unlikely that they got a detail like that wrong.

If his daughter doesn’t like his movies she has bad taste sadly

You're insane if you actually believe that

"Oppenheimer" was just awful. My group walked out. I stayed hoping it would get better but it didn't.
Perhaps intelligent dialogue is not your thing?
Dialogues needs some prior understanding of science.... maybe that's why
@elTigre877 it's not a zero sum game. Barbie's great. Just the polar opposite in terms of tone.
@@exploringlife8671nit really though.
Objectively incorrect to say it was “awful”. People like you fail to understand the amount of work put in to movies. Especially movies like this.
This movie is so BORING. Absolute trash.
Poor you, a certain IQ level is required to appreciate such films
