One time my brother was playing and they built a base all over retail row and they were mining the 1 million health ice cream truck and they broke it. At the end of the game all of the other team was pushed out of dusty due to the storm and my brother’s team won

Mine did. So basically we built a base near shifty shafts and the enemies base was near tilted and it was pretty much exactly like this trailer. Everyone was apart of it

I remember when the mode first came out. Me and my buddys were playing and this moment was one of my core memory’s on the game. Back then in fortnite when everyone wasn’t so good and we all built bases cause of how scared we were, my team of 50 players had loot lake on our side of the map and everyone built a really big base there. Half was building and half was keeping the enemy at bay where the water fall was, we called it the frontlines. Was really epic seeing all the bullets fly, and retreating to the base to defend it from explosions and gunfire, anyone that plays battlefield will know what I mean. Very memorable and amazing experience. It all came down to a 15v15 and we won at a close call I remember.

You guys should introduce a game mode where there are 50 defenders and 50 attackers. The defenders would spawn in a certain part of the map and have a limited time to build a massive base. Then, the attackers would spawn in with preset classes. The classes could consist of a rocket launcher class, sniper class, AR class, etc. The attackers would have to advance on the defending teams base and take control of it to win the game.

This is my third favorite mode in the game. I hope Epic brings this mode back in the next season or so. I understand they are trying to make the popular game fair for everyone, but I really enjoy this mode a lot more then anyone else who shoot down the enemy teammates and war will always be fun in the game mode. I will be a bit happy if this comes back on the new map Apollo.
I was there when this came out and got to admit back then was fortnites golden days now it feels like a completely different game where everyone is just sweating. I gotta say fortnite really dropped in quality over the years sense the glorious days of 50v50

Definitely the best game mode Fortnite ever had. Epic Games ruined it when they updated it to 50v50 v2 where everyone had a glider. That made it so that positioning was meaningless since you could have 10 guys glide on you at any moment and it removed the penalty for overbuilding since if your tower was shot out you could glide away.
This game mode would work just fine in the current meta. People would build bases because pushing a 1v10 situation doesn't work out most of the time. I've heard that the engine couldn't handle the amount of players in a smaller zone with all of the new features.

Jabba da Hutt not really sadly, kind of slow and half your team dies quickly. not much of base building :/ wish you could farm for 5 mins get your stuff and then be set in a confined area with 5 mins building time. that'd be so amazing.

pretty sure the default is holding a shotgun from afar is because 50v50 was made season 1-2, and back then, shotguns were like snipers. Just wanted to clear that up,don't know about SMG's though.
