First! Love the channel, I'm based in Victoria and unfortunately we're not blessed with the same species and rock shelfs you are - regardless, would love to see you down south sometime showing us how its done. I run the Dreamcast 982 PE 1.5-3, agree they're incrediblly tough yet sensitive rods, though yet to catch anything big enough to give it a proper workout. Hope to see you on a shelf someday! Stay safe - tight lines 🎣
I love there rods ! I use them here in the US . I have the Focal, Specialist , and the Dream cast ! The Dream cast is my favorite because how light it is for a 10’ rod !
That’s sick! I’m about to pickup mine in a couple days. Pairing it up with a 14k certate and 300m of pe6 tasline. Glad to hear they cast a mile! So keen to throw some big stick baits
Omg its also one or my favourite rods the dreamcast.. i have a stella 6000 on it fits perfect.. the dreamcast and the palms shoregun evolv are my favourites.. ur right about the dreamcast i thought the same too. How coated it is and is tougher than the palms rods. Palms rods are whippy and nice to use but i feel like it will be too fragile for rock fishing..
Have you had experience with the Heavy specialist? My son has the heavy and wants to try shore jigging and not sure whether the tip may be too stiff. We have a variety of jig sizes at home.
Hi , I got the specialist 2-4 pe it’s good with the jig as you said but I haven’t try popping , what do you think, I have 40g popper . Thank you brother
@@jiguru sorry, I thought you were referring to the Agrressor. The DreamCast is 204.6 grams, You can check out our previous video ruclips.net/video/Scrai6y6Cvc/видео.htmlsi=CpdboErv3PBPojqC
Hi! Just want know what is rod weight of specialist PE 2-4, Is it heavy ? Just thinking which rod i can paired it with size 6000 gosa. Is the specialist MH 1002 model bit heavy for the 6k reel?Just need some info between 2 models. Hard deciding. 😂Thnks
Great job Hadi! Great review on the Oceans Legacy kit bro and really good to see the channel coming on well - SMITHY 😉🤙🎣🐟

We haven't ventured south of the border for fishing, but we would imagine there would be good snapper from landbased during spring or summer.

The Dream Cast is an underrated rod, especially for shorejigging.
I just got the aggressor long cast pe6, it's a weapon, paired it with a gosa 14k and 400m+ tasline 50lb

@@harrygoodenough I went with the 50lb tasline, it's break strain was 89lb if I recall correctly
Mine is the PE8, but still using PE6 Varivas casting braid at the moment. So light for its rating.
@@jonnywaselectricI got the same on my reel can’t wait! Thanks mate

The dreamcast was made for rock fishing, the same as the Specialist rods. My favourites rods, especially for the price.

One of the boys Hans has the heavy Specialist. He uses it for stickbaits & minows. You need the medium or medium light for jigging.
That rod with the 5k vanford = mint

40-60 gram poppers should be OK.
Looking good. Can you tell what is the wight of the last one? Thanks
It weighs 420 grams
@@TeamKingiesFishingCrew thanks
@@TeamKingiesFishingCrew sure not 240?

You reakon the specialist MH will be good with 14000 size reel ?
The H would be more suitable for a 14k size reel, because you'll using PE6 or 8 Braid.

Not sure the weight of the PE 2-4, but we pair it with 8000 size reels.
The MH is too heavy for a 6k reels, it's rated PE 3-6
@@TeamKingiesFishingCrew i try the model 982M as this can be my go to rod. Not to heavy. Thank you .. i will keep watching your videos.
Does OL have any rock fishing rod with a softer tip for soft bait fishing like pillies prawns
I don't believe so. OL rods are mostly for for jigging (land or boat) and lure rods.
where's a market place i can get the Ocean's Legacy Special Landbase Rod?
im from Indonesia.
I don't think any stores sell Oceans Legacy rods at the moment, but you can ordee one from Australia.
is it use for shore or offshore, bro
I use them for rock fishing brother
