They always told me that"I do a very good job" and they offered to give me rides home. Also I explained that I hum and sing poorly because I vowed to be more positive. Shakira even came over to the dish area to laugh at my awful singing. When she laughs, the whole room lights up, she's such a special gal. I miss her the most but I never came on too strong because I didn't want to give the wrong idea about things. She's so funny and Kevin must be one of the nicest guys I've ever seen. Nick, he's really smart and compassionate. Big Al is one of the most traditional people on earth..
Dan "the man" is a bit of a tough guy about stuff, but he's fair, funny and a great sense of direction.
And I like everyone there and I know that I'm a bit odd at times but it's just because I've been away from people for a decade while helping Ma fight her cancer (personal care attendant) and after she died life became insular. I'm not saying that I'm mental or anything, but I do try very hard to apply myself to people in social situations just to show concern.
Jesus warned me that the world will be this way towards me but I'm good at being friendly. And whether one would find my brand of friendliness to be conventional, but I guarantee that no one at work can say that I've been mean. When they ask for silverware, I ask if it's an immediate request or can I finish what I'm doing? And they're all so comfortable with me where they say"right away Dan" and I smile and stop what I'm doing and provide them with their request.
And so if one were to ask me if they at work are afraid of me, I'd say no they aren't.
It's clear to see it too. I miss them so much because I would try to feel like they're my friends at work. And who knows, maybe they do the very same. Senator Tulsi if I weren't nice you'd not waste your time, but you know that I'm a good man, or else you'd not waste a moment being here. And I thank you for your kindness Miss Senator.
