Thank you for the clarification on lack of NFC. I have read on phone specs sites that the A03S DOES have NFC. I searched for it for about an hour before watching this video to find out it isn't compatible with NFC and mobile payments... what a let down!!
I just got my new A03S. It is a great phone for me. I am low tech so I do not need an expensive Smartphone. My last phone went bad after 3 months of use,and I did not damage it. It was just a bad phone. I bought it from my carrier, and it should not have been put on the market for sale. As a low tech person,Smartphones make me uncomfortable. If I accidentally push the wrong buttons,I get into a lot of trouble. Anyway,my A03S is phenomenal. This video was very helpful. Thanks for making it.

Mine just came in the mail. Had to get a phone real quick and this was the cheapest they offered. Going to save up for another Google Pixel phone, which I personally love.
I own this phone and my main beef with it is the one speaker at the bottom. I wish it had stereo and i wish it was louder. I downloaded an app to fix the low sound from the speaker. I payed 55 dollars for the phone so for that price I'm very happy with it.

My biggest complaint is the phone has only 32 GB of internal memory. I just have 4.4 GB of memory left. 10.62 GB is used for "System" and 17 GB is used for "Other". Apparently "Other" is for the Apps. I did install a 128 GB Micro SD card. Can I free up more internal storage space with this SD card?

I concur about the fingerprint sensor but for 2 different reasons. First, the location of the sensor on the right side of the phone makes it difficult to press the button and hold the phone in one hand simultaneously. I prefer the sensor to be on the back of the phone a la Motorola's. Second, it is hard for my eyes to see the button in dark places since it is the same color as the case (both are black). An error message from Samsung prevented any operation of the phone. I returned it, got a refund and purchased the same package from a totally different seller. Same thing happened! Apparently a large quantity of this model phone were stolen or something and Samsung is blocking any usage. Beware
Thanks, some good points, I think the NFC is market dependent on the A03 same as the A12, My GF has an A12 and that phone has NFC cause it's a NA model..
32GB built in storage isn't that bad, now back when it was freaking 15GB storage with the freaking operating system taking up at least 10GB of that storage and loaded with apps you will never use or could not delete from the device, that was bad, this is lots better.
That is the situation I am in. 16GB, it works, but not enough to listen to Spotify comfortably and I am stuck with over 50 apps I cannot uninstall and 7 GB is taken by system and 6GB by "other" . People are so spoiled now. I'm 70. When I was growing up I had a black and white tv 7 channels. After midnight only channel 2 was on. If you were watching a movie or tv show and the phone rang or you had to go to the bathroom, you couldn't pause the tv. There was no video tapes or DVDs and you had to use an anolog camera and you never knew how your picture came out until you carefully took the roll of film out of the camera and brought it to your local drugstore for them to send to Kodak or a prossessing company and in week or so you'd see your picture. And what you saw was what you got. You couldn't fix the picture. If you owned a polaroid, you could see your black and white picture in about 15 seconds and a full minute for color. But the quality wasn't as good as a Nikon. And VIDEO? NO SOUND. You'd have to buy a movie camera and a projector. And you only got 5 minutes of film that you could only film outdoors in bright light. If you wanted to shoot indoors you needed to buy very powerful and bright floodlights that blinded the people you were filming. Then you had to unload the 5 minutes worth of film and bring it to the local pharmacy or camera store for them to send it away for developing. You'd get the 5 minute movie back in about 2 weeks. Then you'd have to get out your heavy metal projector and oh yeah you'd have to buy a white movie screen that was on a tripod and a pain to set up. Then painstakingly thread the take up part of the film into the projector which took more time and patience. Then you would turn all the lights on the room off and start the projector. It usually had 2 switches. One to start the film going through the projector and the other to put that bulb in the projector on. After all that, you get to watch your 5 minute silent film. When done, you'd have to thread the film from the bottom take up reel which is now full, back up into the original reel. Put the projector into reverse and let the film rewind back into the original spool. Then you'd shut the lamp(bulb) off, but keep the projector on until the bulb cooled off in about 5 to ten minutes. Now you have cell phones. Oh yeah, I had to use a corded telephone that you had to dial with your fingers. And no answering machine. We were happy. Played outdoors a lot.

I'd kill to be in those times. I can agree than people are quite spoil'd these days.
I have no complaints it's does everything I need it to do
Could you review the TCL 20E been looking for a review for it a while now haven't had any luck had a AO3s tip u can turn off animations and it will run pretty fast.
samee
Well it's not too slow for me. I'm 63 so the phone will probably have to wait on me LOL. I am trying this phone out now and it does everything that I need it to do. Since I'm not a "gamer" LOL
If you do a Network Settings Reset, does that affect your APN,..!?...Appreciate if u can get back to me...on that issue,..! Thank u!👍
HEY i was thinking about getting this phone before i saw this review do you recommend any other phones that are better in this price range because im trying to get the best performance for like under 60$ roughly so
does it have 64 bit OS,, or is it a hidden 32 bit,, motorola hides 32 bit os on a 64bit phone,, really sucks
absolutely the worst, I have not been able to get past the frp I'm putting my info and my sim card but it's not letting be an acct..it says something dumb
I had a Samsung A20 and was going to replace it with this one. Upgrade or downgrade?
It would be a downgrade. This phone has 8 a53 cores only. Your phone has the beefier cpu with two A73 and six a53.
I liked that one I think I had it with a cracked screen and was still using it as a backup to this one until it went missing. I believe I liked that one more at the time and it had nfc
I just bought an awesome friday... its Monday and all of a sudden not charging.
I buy cheap phones because I'm accident prone so makes no sense to spend hundreds on a phone
Will it run android auto .
I hav mines and its lovely it wrks well for me
What is NFC?
I'm old school and just need a phone for texting and picture taking, but I do 💙 a 📻, + this doesn't have 1
There seems to be a 64gb version?
does it have the always on display?
Can't play games for shit. It freezes up and really bogs down no matter what I try to play
I have the A01 am thinking of moving to a new a02 or a03 now
I recommend you a a02s
The a03 is probably the better choice. The a02 is only 4 cores at 1.5. The a03 has 8 cores.
Same😭
Same here. It amazes me how people go through the same things.
I love this phone 📱 big picture long battery and is beautiful for that price
is ok 👌
What is the maximum size external storage card it accepts?
I read...1Tig
The fingerprint sucks it always lags and i would have restart it
There is also a 64gb storage varient though👀
I just use this for calls, texts, Google, and occasionally watching videos or playing music. Anything else, I just let my OP9 or Google Pixel 7 handle it.
I'm going to this from an LG Phoenix 3. I'm pretty sure it's going to feel like the fastest phone on earth to me lol.
so is it worth buying or no?
I've just bought one, my son has one, he loves it. He gets so much use out of it, tik tok and games. I have bought it for the massive battery, compared to my crappy iPhone xr battery.
@@veron8484 thanks i might get it but im still a kid on a cheap buget so this helps
I cannot receive messages or pictures
It costs $60.00 at Wal-Mart. My Samsung Galaxy A03s works better after raising the payment plan to $65.00
Terrible phone. Mine is brandnew and its sluggish, terrible terrible phone. I bought mine for $230 but its worth at most $100. Never expected better tho. Im speechless 😶. Terrible
I paid 112$ out the door on t-mobile prepaid.. The phone was free! Got 2 months unlimited everything.. Up to 50gigs data high speed.. Phone works great. If you're an extreme gammer, trying to run a business from your phone.. its great.. I pair with my galaxy tablet for anything more than what its suppose to be for.. Crybabies
People trying to be a photographer and run a business with this phone 😂
It's a bit slow downloading
that's very true the a03s is not in the same class as the phones above it but this phone has a fairly large battery
I love this phone
There is a 64GB 4GB and 128GB 4GB Versions for the storage
Thanks for this video good job man.
I'm watching this review with one. Now
The battery on the A03s is quite large and quite good for people who are too lazy to charge their phones all the time.
Can't cast my mobile data on TV.
Thanks
Ese bhi ni hore
Sound is to low
Bro stop talking bad about the A03S. It is the best and im disliking
That's wrong u do have 64gb of internal storage maybe it's an honest mistake
There's actually two versions of the Samsung Galaxy A03s. One that has 32gb of internal storage and 3gb of ram and then there's 64gb of internal storage and 4gb of ram. I have the second one (:
One of the worst things should have been the way they have the password. I can't access my phone because I forgot the password. I tried doing what the you tube videos said to do but it didn't work. So now I am stuck with this phone which i hate but my battery is going out on this phone I hate. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate it
Nice phone but I gotta have my music and music streaming on my phone and that phone is not going to cut it for me at all
Its a cheap phone it's not for you haha
This phone is prob good for a first phone. Takes years to charge! Thought it was my chargers but nope...its slow charge!!!
32gb really bummed me out
the thing i hate about the a03s was that theres no smart view
Inc memory by Sd card ti 1 TB
You gave your location away
It's best phone.
The camera is AWFUL & the battery takes a thousand years to charge. 0/10
As,soon as you unplug it. It starts draining

The worst phone of my life the valume goes down at anytime and it already came with a low vol speaker the finger print only work when it feels like as well as the face unlock the storage is sh!t and the camera is just huh 🤦
this is a low grade cheaper phone for the people who dont have alot of money. go back to your fancy overpriced iphones and go complain more and cry about it smh
The wifi is only 2.4 ghz
I honestly hate this phone. Im just going to buy an old school phone to mod. This phone sucks. My note 5 was better and that was a long time ago. Its an awful phone this ao3
i think it sucks.
I have 4GB Ram And 64GB Rom
This is the worst phone I got I hate it
