I have the HDI 115 Sport 308 diesel as a 2nd car.. the only thing I don’t really like is the notchy gearbox, especially from cold. Oh, and it handles like a boat compared to my RS.. but not really the same kinda car.

Did you ever own a 308 - I ? The earliest ones made in 2007 had some material quality problems here and there: my steering wheel leather peeled off after 10 years, 150tkm and the rubber at the rear window lost its softener and crumbled away after 8 years - it has just a decorative purpose though - no sealing funcionality. Those two problems have been fixed later in series. There has even been a replacement programm for the steering wheel, unfortunately mine failed two years after the programm ended. The overall build and material quailty is still very good and stands the comparison with a Volkswagen Polo or Golf. The condition of a used car is always a question of treatment, not only build quality.
