- It's possible to build a Vespa T5 from brand new engine casings and internals. This Ron Daley special uses Pinasco casings and a load of hand-selected components.
You can read all about it on ScooterLab here:
I certainly love my Mk1 T5, I ride that more than I do my 67 Lambretta 125 Special.
I only ride tuned Lammys now but if I’m honest, my t5 malossi was the best scooter I ever had
Had t5 years ago and used it to take my test on , it was a great scooter tbh but more into lammys , my casa ss225 never lets me down , fast , reliable and looks great , never go back to a vespa now
Stoke Daley at his work again lol 😂
Anything that keeps the metal bodied vespas in the mind is a plus with me👍
to bloody dear !
its all right spose
Hey guys, the article on this in your website is down!
Thanks, we’ve just had a new website (released yesterday), it’ll be back up tomorrow.
What did it cost?
The engine alone is 3k,so I would recon 6K
@@Qwcgvv Thankyou Mike
I remember emailing Ron daleys a few years ago telling them a scammer on eBay was useing their scoot pics to scam people saying they were a bankrupt dealer with 20 new Vespas they had to sell quick for £999 each , scammed loads of lads and daleys didn’t want to know , sent a few emails with my number on hoping they would call me but weren’t interested ,
I didn’t know pinasco made a T5 case? Is it just not a px125 one?

How are there still new PX bodies available?
Some bigger dealers stocked up and pre registered them before production ended. New, but not ‘new new’.
@@ScooterLabUK fantastic, well wear
@@bluefoam try Ron Daley Scooters.
It would not EASILY beat a PX200 on the road so don't talk bollocks mate-get your facts right!
A slight headwind and the T5 was down to about 45mph from memory. My ex had a MK1 from new and it was definitely nippy, but my P2 MK1 would leave it behind, especially up hills and into the wind.
Put a good kit on a T5 though and they fly, great little engines.
@@nsoul8469 I have a mk1 P200E now and there is no way a T5 standard is quicker-especially on hills- i leave them behind and that is a fact!
Got a t5 n a p200 the t5 rides better and it's quicker than my standard 200 62 mph is what I get out of it GPS the speedo says 80 lol my t5 does 65 but come to a hill it struggles
Robbing Ronnies. Tried charging me £450 repairs for water in a brake switch.
Most people dont use the mirror stems on PX's...me included...has anyone made a camera mount for go pro style cameras???...just a thought👍
