I also fell for this scam a few years ago. Didn't get into trouble with my bank, but got screwed financially. Had to declare bankruptcy , was the only way out of my situation.
My Uncle once “got a job” shipping merchandise to buyers on eBay that was originally purchased with stolen credit card numbers and shipped to his house. He was not only dumb enough to fall for the scam and think he got a job as an “internet shipper” (he never asked why he was re-shipping items that came to his house by UPS, FedEx and USPS from a domestic address back out to a domestic address) but once he figured out he wasn’t going to get paid he called his local TV News station and they did a news segment about a scam where you ship things out and you don’t get paid for it.. 🙄 Him and the news channel never touched on how the brand new merchandise arriving on his doorstep was originally purchased (stolen). This was like… 20 years ago when eBay was a new thing on the exciting “information super highway” 🤣 To this day he acts smug and thinks he “caught them” by figuring out it was a scam and contacting the police… after re-shipping a bunch of stolen merchandise for like a month. 😂 Did I mention he was on TV ‘n stuff looking really smart? 🤓
LOL 😆🤣 Ok, I’ll pass the magic bean “opportunity” to him ASAP, I’m sure he’ll be interested, just don’t try to rip him off with fake magic beans or else he’ll report the magic bean company themselves to the authorities, he’s to smart to fall for anything fishy…. 😉

I took the phone off my mother and replied to the scammer, asking her how her children were doing, but actually called her children the wrong names. The scammer replied that they where doing fine and didn't question the incorrect names of their children that I gave, so straight away we knew it was a scam so then I told the scammer to go and lick my gooch.

Next time such an opportunity happens it would be good if there was an accompanying letter explaining its a scam and instruct the people to delay the scammer as much as they can by not contacting the scammer again. This would have probably allowed you one or two days extra of saving people.
I seriously think that they have in the first batch of people, maybe a friend or themselves that you send the stuff to, so they will know at the first batch that it's not going to work
@@codex4046 - Yes, quite possibly. Unlike say a massive list of e-mail addresses which are worth relatively little to a scammer, a list of names with postal addresses of people who have (presumably) already shown some degree of falling for the scam is quite valuable. So it's certainly possible that the scammer might have one of those addresses that will report back to them, whether as an actual confederate, or as a potential scam victim who would still trust the scammer over the RUclipsr's warning letter. Because gathering those names and postal addresses has taken a not insignificant amount of work for the scammer. So they don't want to risk the 'payroll employee' either not sending the letters at all, or sending the letters with warnings.
@@LHyoutube Yes, thank you for this response while i was away. I also want to add, it wont take no time to already have a friend or someone here that you can just add to the list of first outgoing mail. Why didn't you explain the scam in the letter to the victims? You could even include the check, tell them to try cashing it and they will see it will bounce. Show them that they just by luck escaped losing their money, raise awareness to avoid that these people fall for it again.

She gave them my cell # as a reference and I have received texts repeatedly for about 3 weeks offering jobs and pretending to be amazon. I watch Perogi and Trilogy Media and knew they were using my information to try and scam me as well. It sucks because they really do prey on vulnerable people and it sucks. Thank you for all of you scambait youtubers. You guys are bada$$!
You're almost to 1 million subscribers! Keep screwing with these scammers. You, Pierogi, Trilogy Media, and a bunch of others are nightmares to these pricks! ☺
Should we have a party when I hit it?
@@PleasantGreen Hell yeah we should!
Yes..yes
@@PleasantGreen That will be Great

I actually fell for this scam a few years back and got into trouble with my bank and I am more aware now of this. It honestly scary that these things goes unnoticed by gullible folks working long and hard for their money.
I also fell for this scam a few years ago. Didn't get into trouble with my bank, but got screwed financially. Had to declare bankruptcy , was the only way out of my situation.
@@donamicic4727 Genuinely sorry about what happened to you,Dona. Hope you've recovered from the damage. ✌️
@mac23806 Very sorry this happened to you. Sure hope you were able to recover from the damage. ✌️
This was like… 20 years ago when eBay was a new thing on the exciting “information super highway” 🤣
To this day he acts smug and thinks he “caught them” by figuring out it was a scam and contacting the police… after re-shipping a bunch of stolen merchandise for like a month. 😂 Did I mention he was on TV ‘n stuff looking really smart? 🤓
@@a-bootiful-mind6648 yup verified vender !!
Thank you for all you do in exposing these Nigerian scammers.
Adriannotch thanks for the recoveries No matter how big a crowd may be, a person like you always stands out! No one has worked as hard as you have in the last few years. Now your efforts effort has finally paid off. Congrats!!!
You've saved people, and made my day and many other's many times! Keep uploading. Love you
saved how? youre FDIC insured up to $250k, the bank would reverse and return the money on top of generate some from thin air
@@MrPaxio FDIC doesn’t insure fake checks.
Thank you for another great video of educating the public about scammers!!! We all have to be diligent and not fall for those crazy scams!!!
I love how you still ask him when you get paid :D
This happened to my mother. The person on Facebook who the scammer was claiming to be, ( my mother's friend ) was ironically scammed herself.
What you post makes me hopeful for the future. I was someone who would be the spearhead of many scams and didn not get scammed, but only because of my agression and intelligence. These videos show me hope for the future gen as they did not exist prior and teach a valuable lesson i wish i had prior
"Probably you ran away from rehab" killed me 😂 Keep fighting the good fight!
You are my favorite because you come up with these super clever ideas. Great job, as usual.
super clever ideas? when? where? this poor nigerian scammer had too much work and sent an email to wrong person that's all ;-) our hero just used this to make another yt vid, if this is what you ment by clever then yes
9:58 "Yes. When do I get paid?" - LMAO~!~!~! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I want the job of phoning people and telling them they're being scammed. Must be incredible feeling. Great work guys 👍
Wow. He was informed super fast. Love the dum dum detail
That was a joy to watch! The scammer thought his potential victims were suckers - but the only thing they were sucking was Dum-Dums 😂🍭
Good job as always ty sir keep up the great work helping people and going after scammers.
Next time such an opportunity happens it would be good if there was an accompanying letter explaining its a scam and instruct the people to delay the scammer as much as they can by not contacting the scammer again.
This would have probably allowed you one or two days extra of saving people.
I seriously think that they have in the first batch of people, maybe a friend or themselves that you send the stuff to, so they will know at the first batch that it's not going to work
@@nostalgicumbry3279 you think they will go through that effort?
Like "Hey i just hired this new person, better send my friend Jason a letter as well in the batch to see what happens"
@@nostalgicumbry3279 if that was the case they'd have the friend send the checks and letters
Ben, you such a horrible troll… please don’t ever change, we need people like you.
Love it! If only those scammers would start paying you for your time now. Keep up the scam-busting!
Can you review drop shipping scams or drop shipping sites?
Great video as always. ❤️
A lot of them are not scams just people trying to profit. A lot of the products are cheap
What are drop shipping scams? I don't think they exist
@@PikaRaichupikapika Yeah I don't think they are scams
@David Mozingo Extra fees? I've never heard of that before, so I guess I haven't encountered it before
Thousands? Where did he lose thousands?
Why didn't you explain the scam in the letter to the victims? You could even include the check, tell them to try cashing it and they will see it will bounce. Show them that they just by luck escaped losing their money, raise awareness to avoid that these people fall for it again.
I love seeing scammer rage. Keep on enraging these scammers! They deserve it!
I am a Nigerian, and i am very happy with the work you do. Please keep it up.
Wow never seen a video 4 sec after release before!
Congrats! You’re the true first comment (unless someone deleted their comment, but I highly doubt it)
Me neither the ink was still damp towards the end
2:00 Bend Over or Ben Dover ?
This channel should be mandatory viewing to all elderly folk. You'd be saving literally millions of dollars
It was worth it to hear the impatient ranting of the scammer
Are you aware of the TikTok scams and more!b
Mrs Christina the bitcoin trader is legit and her method works like magic I keep on earning every single week with her new strategy
Wow I' m just shock someone mentioned expert Mrs Christina I thought I'm the only one trading with her

I think she is the best broker I ever seen
Having professional mentor you is also very important when it comes to trading, without proper mentorship, one tends to opt out of the market early enough. I do my investment on Mrs Christina platform.
You're an authentic genius. Best video I've seen in months.
I can’t believe people are falling for this scam and being a “dum dum” without getting a “dum dum”😂
I hope all scam-saving RUclipsrs do one huge op to take down a huge chunk of scammers together
You only have 920k subs, what a shame. You put so much work and effort into your videos. Please keep it up, I hope youtube pays you well!
"but at least im not a dum dum" lol that was a good one 🤣
It's sad to think there are people who fall for this nonsense.
It feels great that you guys keep exposing scammers everywhere, great job so much appreciated.❤️🤣🤣🥰
Love this! A few years ago my husband got a call and almost fell for it I said why would they send you a large check then want money back ? I said this is a scam, so he told them forget it don't send a check well they did anyway and sent 2 actually lol! I called the bank it was drawn on and they said they'd been getting a lot of these scams and it was good we didn't fall for it, now me and a couple friends are getting e-mails saying like they're from me saying oh here's some pictures you might like to see click on this, they called me to see if I sent anything I said no I don't even know your e-mail address nor they mine? You have to be so careful now a days 😠
Loved your brilliant & creative way to handle that scammer 👏👏💖
Really enjoyed watching you & other scambaiter friends of mine at the PCC last week!
"have you taken your medication today?"
Lost it. This is the best message a scammer sent to you ngl. 🤣
I got scammed twice long time ago and almost became a money mule to one of the scammers! fortunately, I was wise enough not to be a money mule and stopped all contacts with the 2 scammers before they took any more money!!!
I got Same issues Dudu lucky enough I got my money recover back from the Nigeria scammer through the help of someone I suggest you send him a request I’m sure he can be of help.

He's on lG
The fact that a victim sent the pic to the scammer makes me convinced that a few of them will still be scammed. Should've sent a warning letter to them about the scam, instead of the fake going out of business.
Wow, I can't believe you got away with calling him that. Great job.
You’re a straight g for this I think this is my new favorite thing to watch
Best come back ever "dum dum" 😂
I *LOVE* how they have the nerve to get pissy at you when they know they are caught!!

Good work. It's scary how many victims they can find.
So you call them a dumdum and don't actually explain to them that they were scammed. Great work
