It's great to hear Otto Sonnenholzner's communication style effective and trustworthy. Otto Sonnenholzner was acknowledged for his professionalism during his tenure as vice president of Ecuador. His approach to governance and communication has been characterized by a focus on the responsibilities of his position and the issues facing the country. Otto is simple the best of all! and one of the few politicians that knows politics and can teach many people to understand the meaning of the word. POLITICS. I am so sorry that he wasn’t elected.

It is infuriating that this woman interrupted the guest Otto as he was breaking down some of the recent historical facts that caused policy shifts and opportunities for cartels with a ridiculous populist argument. Ask any citizen of any country if they trust their politicians and everyone will say they don’t! She completely derailed the argument. And saying “I’ve spoken to Ecuadorians.”, like that added weight to her statement. Sweetheart, you’re speaking to a guy that was at the highest level in Ecuador! You’re speaking to Ecuador at this point!
Then she goes back to the US Military base. It was an exact point that he was trying to make. Did she have to interrupt him because she thought she had a stack of “gotcha” points ready and he was already citing them before she could start her inflammatory nonsense?

Was scheduled for 6-8 week recon of buying property in area between Cuenca down south to Loja. Canceled trip and will re-examine trip in 6-8 months from now. My retired Ranch Manager and family flew into Houston IAH Sunday01/14/23 and I picked him up and they now are back on our family ranch. I assisted him March 2019 relocating back to his home north of Loja Ecuador. He has expressed same sentiment as female anchor about government corruption. I sincerely hope this young President Noboa can bring these troubles under control. Drug Wars are a nasty business. The Mexican Cartels are ruthless. The Siniloa Cartel has targeted Ecuador as a logistics hub for over 10 years. We know first hand here in Texas. Hoping for best in Ecuador. Love to retire there after 6 week visit in 2019. Feel in love with the country and people.

Naboa's plan to build modern supermax prisons is not going to solve the problem, but they will help to control it better. The existing prisons are poorly designed and allow a lot of interaction between prisoners and ease of smuggling weapons, phones, drugs, etc. inside. They will also have the ability to better segregate high-level prisoners and will have electronics to block phone signals, etc.
