I'm so annoyed that they don't actually properly explain how to fish in this game, in the game itself 🙁 I wasted so much energy because I wasn't sure what I was looking for to be able to lure in the fish (I thought the bobber was supposed to completely submerge).The game could benefit from a few tutorials. That being said, thank you for the video!
Fisherman noob here ... I didn't like the fishing mini game in Stardew Valley but in Graveyard Keeper it's even worse because I don't get the chance to try to catch the fish. Everytime I hit the [E] button my Keeper takes the rod line out of the water. *grrrrr* I wish there was a mod .... Bishop still doesn't have his fish >.
I had some trouble in the beginning as well with catching fish and another RUclipsr gave a tip that made a difference for me and maybe might help you as well. When your bobber is in the water watch it close, there is a moment before it dips under the water that the ripples around it disappear. If you hit the E key when that change happens, you should have a good chance to catch a fish. I hope this helps you.
hi i was having trouble but watched a video that said dont watch the bobber watch his hands and hit the button when his hands stop it has helped me so much
- Funny, I don't use the 'E' key to pull on the rod I just Left Click - I was surprised that no one else suggested this here, it is a lot easier also you have to use the 'Left Click' to control the moving fish finder thing so it just seems like trying to use 'E' is just going to make it more complicated. Hope this may be useful to some people. - Also P.S. - you can just the Bishops fish from the Lighthouse dude might be a little waste of money but it makes for an easy early quick quest progression, honestly most of the early stuff isn't too difficult except getting that first few blue points is the worst part of the whole thing it's a major wall gate block for me.
After this guide it took me about 10 minutes to unlock the keepers 3rd tier. Most of my time was walking back to bed to sleep to the next days to unlock the stock. Thanks.
I have to point out a little mistake. Brutal Fisherman is the achievment you get for catching 200 fish. You don't get that by catching the golden crucian.

What’s funny is as soon as I got the excellent rod and gem lure. That was the first fish I caught lol. Tried to go sell it and the fisherman still doesn’t have enough money to buy it from me lol
You have to eat specific meals to get buffs so the fishing is easier. And with the right rod you can always get a gold fish no lure beneath the waterfall. Good enough to get the kings fish menu.
it's impossible to get the gold fish in the waterfall it's impossible to get the gold fish without bait. it's impossible to get the gold crucian without bait. there's no food that increases the % of certain fishes. it just makes it so you have more time to reel in OR it decreases the catch bar speed. so i think you mean that the easiest gold-quality fish (which is not the same as "gold fish") is the carp. which is true. excelent rod, in the waterfall at night without bait = carp
@@JoachimVampire - I think he meant what you said, because "Gold Fish" is not the same as "Goldfish" the first one (which he said) is most likely the gold tier fish like you said, the second one would be the little orange thing every kid has for a pet when he is 8 years old. Although I find it funny that the Achievement for catching a "Goldfish" is called "Gold Fish" - kind of misleading and possibly mislabeled.
unlike Stardew Valley, where fishing was really punishing if you weren't good enough at it, fishing in this game just takes a lot of real life time, and that's it. When fishing, game-time doesn't progress, and once you hook a fish ( after a constant delay of about 6 seconds) you cannot lose the fish unless you deliberately let it go. It has a way more casual approach to it.
when you go out fishing, you should also set your furnaces (hopefully you'll have more than 1) to smelt stuff, as they work based on real time, and during a fishing trip, you can easily have quite a lot of metal smelted at almost no time passed ingame.

I had the same problem. Hit Esc., change your resolution configuration (I suggest you to go higher) and also go from borderless option to full screen option. See how it goes. The game UI will look like crap but you can do it only when fishing and go back to normal once you're done.
anyway, i wonder, why is not the teleport a one time ticket (*edit: or at least have some reasonable durability)? it would totally make sense..but i guess people that play this game would cry about it too much and why you can buy more teleport stones if one is for infinite use? like if someone forget where he/she left it or is stupid enough to accidentally destroys it?
i have money making tip for you..go pick up coal and sell it..thats it ..like you need a tip to make money in a game where money is not an issue..always the gold reason

It should be mentioned that silver and gold crucians give you a silver or gold nugget when you cut them up in your kitchen.

i caught 5 gold fish in 1 night when you see the fish moving slowly just press Esc and try again until you get a crazy fast fish
