A great blue point farm id gravestone 2. Each craft is 5 points, costs 3 stone. Turn the gravestone 2 back into stone for a cost of 2 stone per 5 blue points. I use wine and berry ferments for energy, and cooked shrooms.
Dont let zombies craft too much except for the tedious low level stuff. Advanced crafting gives you a lot of red, green and blue points. Like level II stone grave decorations give 5 red and 5 blue each.
I've picked up this game and started it about 5 or 6 times now since I got it on Switch, and every time, I have to restart because I keep forgetting even the basics of how to play. I hardly make it beyond the starting tutorials each time. Thank you SO much for this!

I had to watch another video first to get started in the game, because there is so much, like getting quickly the tech and res to unlock the quarry. But your video helped me out greatly, didnt know about the witch, sand & clay, location of seeds ect.. Keep it up dude and stay healthy, good work.

You forgot to cover fishing, that is important as well I had to search up how to do it, I didn’t realize I could pick up the bate from flowers: moths in night, butterfly in day and maggots from garden compost. I also thought fishing was broken for me, but I wasn’t being quick enough. You can even catch fish without bait
One small thing....those apple trees n berry bushes you meant 4:10 are not there early game....you plant them. Though they are available elsewhere on the map if you look around.
Your absolutely right, my intention was to just show what berry bushes and apple trees looked like not to confuse the player but I looking back I probably should have had seperate clips for other locations as to not confuse the players. I agree I love the conversations in the game really funny and well written! Love the graphics too it's just fits so well with the music its easy to zone out doing tasks. Are you playing that vanilla game or do you have any of the dlc? I still need to get the newest one just been busy.

I want to go through all the series one by one, so that some things from the other DLCs don't close or change my paths in the previous ones, if possible. I can't wait for the next DLCs. Trailers look gorgeous. As for the disadvantages, I miss a bit better tips (e.g. about the beginnings of fishing, collecting moths, something like alchemy notebook).

I don't know too much about the new DLC I myself havent checked into it yet but I will ! Yeah the begenning tips and hints stop early and leave you to kind of figure out for yourself ! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just different capabilities in different versions of the game but for example, up at the quarry, I CANNOT make a furnace or even a second trunk. I go to the blue prints and those crafting options don't show up. Also at 5:55 of the video, up the top of the screen, there is a blue thing with a countdown. I have seen that once or twice very early in the game and couldn't work it out. What is it? Overall, a good effort on this guide with some great tips.
The blue thing counting down is an effect status and how long its lasting. So for example if you eat cake that symbol pops up for science and for I believe its 2 minutes everything you study you get bonus xp from it. Another example would be a prayer let's say you make a prayer for writing you will have A boost for roughly I think its 18 minutes. ( time may vary ) to write gold books or chapters. And I have heard that as well from other players on PC. Maybe it only works for console players ( I play on xbox ) I do know that pc players get the breaking dead as part of the game but console players have to buy it. Its possible it's something similar to that. And thank you ! I really appreciate that it means alot

"WHAT IS THIS COUNTING DOWN TO!!????" xD And PC players can buy the collectors Ed. which has the DLC or they have to also buy it separately. Unfortunately for me, I'm going to have to buy the DLC eventually as I won the base game in a Twitch stream ;)
That's awesome congratulations on winning ! Well good news is its relatively cheap. The DLC adds alot of quality of life enhancements that was much needed. I think you will enjoy them :) Hahaha I totally get what you mean I was also curious about it when I started. Theres alot of different buffs you can get too to make life A little easier. Pro tip when you get to the part for the Dark Organs make and use the "Prayer for Repose " will save you alot of time. Also my other tip video "common questions " has a few other tips I learned along the way. But hands down SPEED POTIONS are an absolute necessity !
its worth mentioning .. you can just buy honey at the bee keeper. his place is not marked on the map, but I think it is just west of the barn where you buy milk
Or you could explore and experminet on your first playthrough. GO BIG, not fast! Go through every tec, craft everything possible, check everything, build everything. The best advice on these type of games, on your first playthrough - MAKE MISTAKES, that's the best way to learn. Having said that, solid list of advices, just remember newer players, except for church improvements which you always do asap, everything else is optional, depending on your build or preferences, because you can make money from anything minning, foraging, cooking, fishing.. there are better options later on, like tavern and trading co. are just money floods (again, if you know what you are doing), but require a bit more work, well, untill the free workforce comes.. but that's actually advanced level. It may not look like it, but it's a big game and quite nuanced, take your time to learn it. Your second playthrough, I guarantee, will be very different from the first and a whole lot of different fun. Oh and the last tip, shut your trap - "snitches end up in ditches". ;P
I watched your video on 12 things I been playing a while I went to hillbilly to get cake recipe, no dialogue for that, also went to the quarry to set up furnace’s don’t the blueprint at quarry’s built station, also I don’t have recipes for better quality fertilizer at the alchemy workbench. Don’t know why did I miss something earlier and now I’m to far along in the game. Please if you could help me figure this out
1: check your cooking techtree. If you don’t have the dialogue to get the cake, you probably already have the recipe. 2: What? 3: there’s a tier 2 alchemy workbench. _Do not_ deconstruct the tier 1 alchemy workbench, the tier 2 does not work with 2-ingredient recipes. Higher quality fertilizer uses 3 ingredients, tier 2 workbench only allows the use of 3 ingredients, you get it.
You have to have at least 4 seeds of that particular vegetable in order to be able to plant it. So 12 seeds would only be 3 plots or "grid squares " if that makes sense

So much bad information in this video. SMH Using cake for energy is a massive waste of time, effort and resources. You make cake for the study buff. If all you need is energy there are vastly less costly basic foods infinitely more effective to use for energy purposes. Selling iron parts is an absolutely HORRIBLE idea. You need a metric ton of them throughout the game for upgrades and quest purposes. If you are that hard up for money, just sell coal to the blacksmith.

You didn't explain burning bodies. You talk about buying stuff in the beginning, but it's kind of impossible to buy stuff with no money.

Cake has a buff that gives you double tech points when studying objects. Lasts for two minutes.

U also need to have unlocked the garden through a quest (forgot which one though, sorry)

It is compost, not composite :). It is a way to renew the earth. Look it up on RUclips.
