  • A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Dauch Advanced Manufacturing Laboratories in Purdue's Dudley and Lambertus Halls, including the Purdue Polytechnic Smart Learning Factory and Smart Foundry, took place November 30, 2023. Ken Burbank, professor and head of the School of Engineering Technology, Daniel Castro, dean of Purdue Polytechnic, John Dyck, CEO of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute, Jun Yanagi, consul-general of Japan in Chicago, and Alyssa Wilcox, Purdue's senior vice president of partnerships, delivered remarks. Nearly 200 people attended and toured the new state-of-the-art labs.
    Accenture US and Microsoft are our industry partners for the Smart Learning Factory. Caterpillar is our partner for the Smart Foundry. Fortinet is our partner in the Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) Lab. Endress+Hauser is our partner for the Continuous Process Lab. Purdue Polytechnic is grateful to be working with industry leaders like these.
