Hey Sheila, Thank you for watching the video and for your inquiry. If your thermometer doesn't have an adjustable nut on the back then you should be able to twist the entire head. You may have to hold the stem with a pair of pliers and then turn the head until you reach the proper temperature. I hope that answered your question.
