I feel he hypes it too much, the Italian TDs don't have such a high dpm but are so far the most annoying tanks to face, when hull down, might as well as just go to the other flank but when I play the tortoise hull down, everyone just spam gold at your copula

Unfortunate that he only used the premium ammo :( Was not necessary at all on all these targets. Overall a really good showing of the strenghts of the Tortoise.
Most stressful game I had recently was in the T25 AT. Did a lot of damage in a tier 7 game (~3,000 early on, ~4,500 total), but the last 3 minutes was down to me and two ally arties versus 4 tanks and 2 arties. Only had a bit more than enough HP to take one hit (which I did near the end and was on like 25 HP) for that entire stretch. Easily my best mastery level match so far.
I keep seeing great Tortoise games. Makes me think about buying it back. I sold mine back when the line was so, so bad. Now I think I'm going to get it back and try it out again.
That was really good gaming skill. Lots of great snap shots at range; some nice turns executed on the hill (turbo was clutch); the play against the t95 was very skillful.
That 283 is the best example why low tier players/newbie players should not be able to play higher tiers until they reach certain levels of tech tree tanks.
I think it is a terrible tank , if the enemy team had good players the tort would not have a chance . Tort biggest weakness I think is the lack of proper penetration of the standard rounds. The armor has been negated with the use of gold shell. I noticed that the gun is also not that accurate at ranges . I regret spending the time and gold to covert free experience points on this tank . It is good fighting t 7 or 8 but against higher tiers it does not stand a chance. It DPM means nothing if you cannot pen reliably enemy tanks.
Contrary to popular belief, the 2 main ingredients of achieving amazing results like this, are not being a great player and playing an OP tank. What you really need is especially dumb players (on your team and the enemy team as well) and spammind gold like there's no tomorrow. Both excellently showcased in this video.

no, I disagree, both things has to be there, you have to be 100% skilled and you have to be 100% lucky to do it, just put 100 players in his shoes, I bet that lik 90%+ or even more would have lost this game, even with such a bad enemies

Yeah that GW dropped the ball there. 300+ mm of pen on its AP with 600 alpha. Looks like he fired a damage HE shell, but I never rolled a 400+ with one of those unless it was a med or light
@@whidden1998 yeah exactly what I was thinking you never do 400 dmg at all even against a lightly armored vehicle unless you pen with HE but the AP rounds are a beast on them even tho alot if people call it worthless cause if no splash dmg and terrible accuracy lol but with worthless HE and how terrible arty is no days anyway you still do hardly any dmg unless you get a direct hit
That little arrow button near the tank's "research" button. It's accessible to t6 and higher tanks, and you unlock the option of getting them when you research everything on your tank (modules and next tanks, so premium and special tanks get field mods right away). You do not have to install any of them, but sometimes it's worth to, because it's a set of min-max improvements (you make one thing worse to improve another, for example you can make your tank take longer arty stun time in exchange for better view range or the other way around).
Would be curios over 10k battles played at tier 8 - 10, surely there is a strong correlation with gold and having significant games. The top gun has gold rounds have 126% the pen compared to standard. Having increased shell velocity; this is the best upgrade for your tank. It isn’t like you can take more standard rounds to compensate for the worse pen.
6:50 you can here the fv4005 MISSING and then the object just shoots like a pile of crap. Honestly this guy got really lucky but his timing and attention to each tank was decent (except he only used apcr -.-)

He was using the top gun, no other gun on the T95 has 750 alpha. Didn't load gold tho.
