First masterclass i actually agree with almost everything. I do want to point out something that's very important for future strv 103b drivers. If there's 2 arty and it's an open map i would never try to go aggressive. You will get farmed by arty so hard you will hate yourself. On Steppes, Prok, Mali with 2+ arty step back and play long range, it will pay off.
Ive found that helping mediums win their flank quickly by playing aggressive since mediums aren't going to overmatch you and then transitioning into a passive support role for your heavies while your mediums flank is the perfect way to play this.
Same! I take my higher tier Swede wedges into the bushy MT/LT area and push through. The ninja level of camo helps with the dmg racking and then change to sniping. Such a fun tank ngl. Edit: With the 103b's armor it's just cracked
I think that STRV S1 should be in tech tree line because 103-0 and 103B are also with their gun intact with the hull and UDES 03 should be a premium tank indeed because of the gun barrel not attached to the hull and more powerful and sneakier.
This was my main when it was released. My best tip to you is when you play aggressively in this and you get slapped silly, back up into a sniper position way back and cool your head. You need to know when you can and can't play aggressive and there is nothing wrong taking a back burner helping your team with snipes. This baby has a strong personality.
This is one of the most enjoyable tier 10 tanks. With agressive playstyle it can do quite incredible things. Stealthy and dangerous. Its not really a tank with out a turret. Its more like a turret with out a hull.
Recently, I've noticed that the majority of the time, when I lose in WOT, my team, has had lots of campers, sitting back, doing nothing, regardless of tank type. Meanwhile, the enemy team was aggressive, constantly pushing. Not sure if there has been an influx of bots...or just people getting super lazy recently. And this video does a good job of pointing out that you win by pushing, regardless of what type of tank you are playing.
it's enough to get 1-2 extra campers to sway 4-5 more people to camp and vise versa cause when you see that you have no help - there is no way to be aggressive

Flipside is most of team attacking, and getting shot to pieces in first few minutes for no gain. Some bots now just follow other players, but don't fire. You need a combination of campers & aggressive playing to tank strengths overall, & MM to match team well, which doesn't necessarily happen.
YESSS!!! I love this tank. It holds my damage record and around 6.5k (yes I know not much to some of the other players in this audience but I don't play as often and I have 4 or 5 years of experience on this game)
My fondest memory in this tank was the time i got disconnected due to bad internet, only to come back with half the HP and multiple scratches and a giant gash on it, apparently while i was disconnected my S-tank acted as an overwatch and kept on baiting hits from enemy team and detecting them in the process 😅
a couple of years ago, me on an STRV 103b and a kranvagn faced 2 chieftain and a t30, we won against them. I bounced like 10K. I regret not saving that replay!
QB Master class summarized: - Put a turbo - Switch to easy ammo - Get lucky This master class is missing so much information and apart from the armor layout vs caliber there is very little useful information, just the obvious part. I'm pretty sure the tank review years ago teached a lot more about the tank than this "master class" which feels rushed. What about the fact this tank can very easily be immobilized and flanked? What about its low profile? What about the fact you can fire without entering siege mode and use the mobility to shotgun enemies (I've seen so many STRV drivers throw their tank away by wasting time going in siege mode at close range)? What about its godlike camo (you talked a lot about the UDES camo in its master class, but very little here)? Playing aggressively in the STRV is great, but mostly in the mid/late game. Early game if you face enemies with some knowledge or spamming easy ammo, you'll get recked in no time because they know they must track you and once you are tracked you can't do anything because the STRV has a gun arc of +/- 3°.
This is how I play the 103b and it’s super rewarding and fun blasting away up close at confused enemies That’s my playstyle tho, up close and personal I play super aggressive tho but sometimes have to play support or sniper on some maps
Yea when I learned to get aggressive in this thing I started doing 3k+ damage regularly. If I know a JGPZE100 is slinging heat I’ll literally sit out and trade because this thing will not be penned by heat. Most guns that are in the 490 and below alpha range just can’t go through it frontally. The thing feels like a Maus sometimes. With a less than 6 second reload and over 300mm of pen
Allmihgty Jagdpizda has such enormois Heat pen, that it can even manage to pen your HEAT Shield in like 50% of the time, because the penetration loss in a percentile and an penetration highroll with 525mm of pen will simply cut your HEAT shield like butter 😅

well, this statements makes a lot of sense if you are playing the game using a wireless connection. Because if you then switch to a LAN connection, it can massively improve the stability of your connection. Much less packet loss and better ping.
Thanks for the video. To bad WG present it as a sniper. It was used front line, attack. And by the time the armor was real good, almost everything just bounced. It could go in water for 6 km/h (some STRV models, not all) STRV, stridsvagn/tank. And the showel we see in the begining, could digg it self hull down. Keep up the work QB. MrSirAlot

the Swedish td grind isn't a rough one either, as grinds go. the tier 6 isn't bad, they are capable enough when stock to not be too punishing. and they are very fun

This tank always reminds me of the Germany-only Tank Destroyer from Red Alert 2/Yuri’s Revenge, except unlike in that game, you don’t need to deal with infantry or buildings in World of Tanks

i have around 10 k games in wot. and i have never ever had a game like that on westfield. where the enemies just seem to face away and not notice me. when i play there are atleast three different angles im getting shot from and no matter how i wiggle and try to stay allive im being shot in the side and everywhere XD

Its fun that Strv103B is having such an mediocre overall win rate, i am an average player (1473wn8 overall; 2600wn8 in thr last 1k battles; 1800wn8 in the last 10k battles) and with 54% win ratio its one of my "stronger" T10 tanks 👌 I love its capability to hold back an emtire front, if theres at least one team mate spotting for you 😊 My Leopard 1 and Lion which feel to suit my playstyle even better come along with 49% wr 😅
Never realised you could play this so aggressively.. I went up to the 103-0 but got bored of the camping-at-the-back gameplay. Think I'll have to buy it again and get the B!
This game was interesting back in the days when each tank was doing what was supposed to do. Now there are little to no roles, just a big arcade pew pew game, with no tactics ( armored warfare / tank tactics ). The last thig they need to do to complete this mess is to make super- armored arty and sent it to brawl :)

Would I be insane to put Experimental Mobility T3 instead of a Turbo? I guess you could not get the max speed boost and other statbuffs are Negotiable so Bond turbo IS the optimal choise ( I do not have Bond turbo)
It is easy to get forward, but I play on hardmode, what you say? Yes, it is the true, I am born with shaking hands. But I love this tank. I have gun rammer, Bounty optics, and Mobility Improvement System T3 in the last slot, without food I get up to 446 meter viewrange.
i wonder, does it matter which crew member has a critikal eye perk in this tank? which one is better to have this perk, commander or driver? Also, i have now crew with 4 perks each crew member, but they dont have those additional zero perks. Now, thanks to the TMNT battle pass, i have 3 crew members with a brothers in arms zero perk. Is it a good idea to switch them?

problem with playing this tank aggessive is i alway get rush by enemy when they see me ps: the reverse speed outside speed mode is something that get me out of death door way more than dying when play like a MT. but becarefull when playing this like a MT is alot of them gonna try and rush you

Sitting back and sniping is only giving you some impact if you're losing.
YES and to many players does this and then get damage at the end of the game and then blames all others for loss.

The Swedes considered this a medium tank and not a TD.

The real key to the second game was the aggression to chase off the enemy TDs, then the ridge was yours.
surprisingly a lot of this applies down to the s1 too. i think the udes can benefit from some of these tips a bit but not sure

Outside of siege mode its accuracy is 0.3 base and the garage shows that value.
