I love how House is usually much more caring with Cuddy. They have such a pull and tug relationship that's so addictive and straight up adorable!
too bad she kinda wrecked him in season 7
You think he's wrecked? Wait till you see her house.
@@shapen360 good one
Pull and tug? God I hope that was a euphemism
Yup and I think he saw that. Wrecked a car into her house out of shear stress.
1:25 houses interaction with the little kid was so adorable
The boy is a wonder. I read somewhere that the sneezing wasn't planned (:
House is generally very good with children (possibly because he is mentally still a child tho hehe)
imagine having to use glasses with 5 years old
Thinking the same thing. Houses treats grown ups who are stupid badly because a grown up should know better. But a kid doesn't know better.
Like Gordon Ramsay, he treats grown ups who act like big chefs harsh because they should know better and be humble, but a kid needs help and guidance, so he treats them with care.
Reminds me of George, the Stuart little kid, whose father was also Hugh Laurie
Love the clinic mom. She doesn't get angry at House or her kid when she realizes she's been dumb, she just has that embarrassed smile like she tries to be irritated but can't pull it off. Makes her much more relatable and sympathetic than most patients in the show.
Hahaha....yeah. This episode reminds me of the Sherlock Holmes Man with the Twisted Lip story
She should be embarrassed, it clearly indicates that she doesn't bathe her son.
@@h.peters Well if you think your child has gotten sick quite suddenly and you're the type to go straight to the hospital, yeah, you probably wouldn't take the time to get the kid in the shower. (Also kids typically don't need to shower every day, more like every other day.)
And House also toned down his usual snarkiness quite a lot with her;
The owner of this channel is deliberately sabotaging my productivity by uploading these clips
And we're not sorry about it either 🤪

Sleeping too, look at me and the time 🙄🙄🙄
Ohh brooo blame on him. I got hooked too! Dammm it.
1:58- “Yes, mistress” makes me laugh every time.
She came all the way up there to ask him if he would be the father of her baby but chickened out at the end.
Tragic
Naaaaaah. I'm confident she came there to offer him a permanent job in the clinic that he loves. But then she realized that House has done too many nasty things to her, and does not deserve to be doing clinic hours, but deserves to be tortured as a diagnostician.
@@sfprivateer lmao
That’s what I thought but her mannerisms had me questioning. 🤔
"I'm leaning towards 613."
"Oh sure, go with the Jewish number."
There are 613 commandments from god in Judaism. Absolutely hilarious.
And Cuddy is Jewish
Jokes like this are what make House such a standout show. I can't think of any other TV show, especially these days, that can pull off such niche jokes no one would even think to write.
And the filthy poseurs don't obey any of them. But they sure like to do the rituals.
@@scottsent8120 they further created their own religion after they rejected messiah. So tulmidism is what it really is now and its so unconcerned with the original old testament its obvious.
This thread shows the problems with religions.

I have a hunch that the kid wasn't supposed to sneeze, and that was a genuine "bless you".
I was looking for this. Same. House wouldn't say that.
@@LarissaAlves-ps6im why? He was genuinely nice to the kid
@dinar7082 Exactly House was generally much nicer to the kids unless the kid was being a jerk.
To clarify what I meant, I think the sneeze and "bless you" was off script. It wasn't House saying "bless you", I think it was Hugh Laurie.

"Thank you for the injection." + a thousand words that didn't come out
-- Dr. Cuddy with a big smile.
Yeah the other injection not the first two.
What does it mean? What happened later??
@@larisachan1787 I think she wanted to ask him if he could become a donor. He told her to find someone she trusted, because genes matter and I guess that's why she came to him. Firstly she wanted to ask Wilson. I assume. He thought it was just a date.
Watching House is a double edged blade. I feel like I’m there with them in the show experiencing the rush of emotions the characters do, while simultaneously realizing how lonely I am IRL with little to no meaningful interaction with my peers around me
Never mind your peers. Go and do some voluntary social work. Helping others is the quickest way to be loved. Or if you are tough, go and assist in 🇺🇦 Ukraine.
@@rosemaryallen2128 well I agree with volunteer work in my local communities but Ukraine? Definitely not. That’s putting my life at risk for a political war I don’t agree with. My efforts would be better served helping people around me. I don’t want to be loved for it either I guess I just missed having meaningful interactions with other human beings who don’t have an ulterior motive or agenda
Sounds like you need a better class of friend. Maybe find a local meetup group that you have an interest in. Go to places you want to be whether it be a coffee shop, yoga class, woodworking class. Whatever floats your boat. Keep doing things like that and you're guaranteed to run across people you click with that you both enjoy each other's company. Best of luck to you.
Hoo boy I feel that pain. Watching characters act in ways that are relatable and endearing makes you very invested in their ups and downs, but every now and again life forces you to look around and it's only natural to compare
You are so naive it hurts
I really like how at first House is just mocking the top two choices, but once Cuddy starts getting into the genetic nitty gritty, House finishes her sentence and addresses her concern. He studied them closely too.
It's so funny to watch these "House lusting for Cuddy's body" scenes when the actors had the exact opposite reaction. Lisa was usually excited to do those scenes an Hugh felt kinda uncomfortable 😭
Whoever keeps this channel running is a legend.
The way cuddy looked back though 👀😂
Ik the smirk/smile 😍
The tension between them in the early seasons was palpable. Doesn't land quite the same now, knowing they already sorta hooked up in med school.
They have such great chemistry
yah, i am sure it is the writer error who ran out of ideas to make the two characters interesting. too bad, since the intention probably was to make them more intimate. beside, if didn't make it obvious from day1, it is kind of a "cheap shot" to try to fit it in later in time. lol
I think it wasn't like a hook up. House was thrown out of med school and he didn't even get to ask for her cell no. Just a fleeting interest in her.
These clips remind me how fleshed out and deep these characters are and how you can interpret what goes on and is said in completely different ways and either works in a very natural and true to the character way. The way some things are open ended is great and part of that is because of how human they are.
A show about brilliant minds making you think, how bout that.
House was... nice to that kid and mom.
Hes always nice with Kids
all she was thinking is having a healthy paper baby, but he gave her another view, she admire and respect him, what a better candidate than the one is in front of you who is better than most around with the attitudes she is looking for
Yeah hes a genius but one of the things your missing is the whole reason she even needed his opinion was not just for personality or what have you its genes she was needing opinions for. House may not have the genes she is looking for
@@callmecalamity She does not know what she is looking for at least not intellectually. She is looking for things you cannit read from a paper report.
That good on paper was obviously a validation seeking npc who said what he thought sounded good and sophisticated to hear. Zero strength
House was actually very sweet this episode
House being good to the kid reminds me of Gordon Ramsay. Treat grown ups harshly, but kids sweetly.
Also, Cuddy would definitely have had Houses baby if he was just a little nicer.
It's not like he would be raising the child. Being nice or mean isn't genetic.

@@michaelmackenzie3114 right there with you. After the last conversation they had she thought for a while on what the truth was behind what he said. Did she not like him? Did she actually like him?
She went up there because house is a good candidate being the genius he is with good Gene's but reaching him made her release his faults and who he is really does matter.
He played into that idea and who knows if he tried to lure her away or tried to get her to consider him. The end result is that he got what he asked for and it stays with him alone if he hoped she would choose him.
She didn't and it played out against him.

Is it possible not to fall in love with Lisa Cuddy?
What I have to wonder is if that kid House brought in as an "intern" to dissuade Cuddy is if the kid thought he had a genuine shot at getting the position, had no idea he was being used, or if House was paying him like he often does. Not as easy as his usual methods, as I doubt this kid is a hooker, but he has his ways.
And if the guy was actually a donor, or if he just cross-searched med intern. Mozart
House couldn't really have found the donor. Hiring an actor to talk about Mozart at the right time makes more sense. OTOH then the conversation before Cuddy enters makes less sense.
@@AllenKnutson I wasn't thinking this guy was the donor in question, it was just someone House thought fit all the most negative stereotypes of said donor's descriptions. The question is if it was a scheme the kid was in on, or if he thought he was actually being interviewed for a position unaware he was a pawn in House's scheme.
My family has...a mixed bag of great or bad genetics. We tend to either die young or live a really long time. I have 3 ancestors that made it passed 100 and several that got close. Two of them met my older brother. When my brother was born we had 6 generations living. My brother, dad, his father, his mother, *her* mother and *_her_* aunt. The way that was possible was the great great grandmother and her aunt were only a couple years apart. They made it to 104 and 106 respectively. Sadly both passed before I came along.
I can’t with this clip. I love their I retraction and the fact that they should end up together.
Cuddy really has the hots for House
lol Mozart says what I feel but can’t express💀
Patrick…he was on Gran Torino Lol..the priest 😂😂
Cuddy looks, stunning!
with that final scene... im pretty confident that was one of the many times throughout this entire show Either House or Cuddy thought about asking the other out on a date. Had they just sucked it up and just went out on a date sooner, they could have hashed out all the issues House would end up having later on as he delved more into why he is the way he is, and they could have gotten through it together for the better. as the show goes on, it becomes more and more obvious that they continue to like eachother, but House becomes more and more in his own head. the exact reason Cuddy ended up breaking it off in season 7 is because of How house ended up becoming. House in early seasons, while more or less the same as later, seemed more open to the idea of cooperating with Cuddy, as he was alot more outgoing earlier on. as time went on, House got overly serious and more cynical. They should have just hooked up sooner as i said.
All of that is why i genuinely always feel bad for both of them. Because they gave eachother so much grief and dug themselves deeper from eachother. this is why honesty is important. i mean, yeah they had honesty, but they never opened up about their feelings for eachother soon enough. by the time they did it was too late.
Actually... "Genes matter"... If I can be fair I have been wondering what would be the result of cuddy and house having a baby... I mean... House is unbelievably clever, and intelligent and he is totally rational... Cuddy is as well but less than house but therefore she has this intense personal cleverness and is a great human... When I think of a cuddy with her behavior but houses intelligence ... .This baby would be REALLY dangerously clever...

This is an interesting example of house's and Cuddies interactions in BDSM-ish-like power exchanges ....
FIRST:
Cuddy : NEED you...NOW!!!
House : ( DEEP voice) - YES.......MISTRESS!!! 👠👠🙏
THEN: .....and just a few minutes later.....
Cuddy:....twice daily injections of menotropins... I can't do it myself.....😔
House: (With a VERY INSISTING and DOMINATING voice) - TURN AROUND!!!😎😏
The power exchanges between House and Cuddy are always sudden and hilarious!
🤣🤣🤣
Ew wtf
They both rely on each other's help, advice when the need arrives.
"Thank you for the injections. ... Now, can you give me another kind?"

I was really curious to see what cuddy actually wanted to say to house.
She wanted House to be the sperm donor but couldn't bring herself to go for it in the end. If you rewind back just before the interaction, you'll understand better why. I'd suggest just watching the entire series actually and take note of the complicated relationship between House and Cuddy (and many others), to really and truly understand it all.

God this woman is absolutely beautiful!!! She's stunning! Breath taking!
I don't think the area was disinfected well enough, might need more rubbing...
What is this last scene? Why did she tell him that? And why the background music?
Pretty sure she was going to ask House to be her babys sperm donor and father, but at the last minute chickened out. She either expected some smart remark or that he would refuse and didn't want to put herself in that position, as she was being very vunerable and open and clearly expected House to make some kind of joke or similar at her expense. She's also his boss and probably thought it would be inappropriate. Oddly, I think House would have done it, just because it was her that had asked. They had a very intimate relationship, even though romatically it didn't work out.

Anyone know the details of why she didn't return for final season, despite literally entire cast being back? Some drama behind scenes?
My understanding is that she couldn't get a satisfactory $$ deal.
There was a huge strike at the time actors and not getting paid fairly. She is one of those who protested.
Corporations dont even care to throw away their biggest stars on a literal dime.
Yup, the producers wanted to cut some actor’s salaries so they could bring Olivia Wilde back
@@beloslavachilingirova2921 and literally she was back for 3 episodes and she wasnt even that important. Such a shame.

She was also thanking him for his advice and "meddling" that had caused her to change her mind. Either she was too proud to tell House he was right, or she just couldn't find the words for it. By thanking him for the injections, it let him know she wasn't seeking IVF anymore and therefore that she'd changed her mind - because of his advice.

I forgot about this episode! Cuddy obviously wanted to ask him to donate his sperm at the end there. If I remember right, that never got elaborated on later, right? Would have been cool to see that storyline tie up somehow, even if House didn't end up doing it.
