I have 3 reasons why I don't add them to my boil ups 1) My mum used to make them to fill us up as kids when there wasn't much puha or watercress to go around, very cunning😅. 2) I don't eat bread or flour in my diet very often, stuffs like glue in my gut and 3) After gathering cleaning prepping, filming, I can't be bothered making those as well. It all means I eat more greens and fat😆

Thanks Sean, I would have done a few more camps if it wasn't for the shoulder. Trying to do some before the weather gets warmer and camps get busier.
Spent a week at Matatā campground one summer I think 6 years ago. Had a great time. Kids loved it at the beautiful beach. Would love to go back.
It's a great spot, one of my favourite places to go too

Apparently down south they are more pleasing to allow dogs at DoC camps. Some camps allow dogs in the off season which is great.
